If you have a Vevor electric vehicle charger you've probably been frustrated trying to use the app that they recommend to control it. Tha Vevor manual says just to scan the QR code to download the Smart Life app then to play with the Vevor EV charger and get it into pairing mode. Our problem was we just couldn't get it to work.
After quite a few tries, including some calls with technical support we ended up trying a different app to manage our Vevor electric vehicle charger. Specifically we used the free Globe Suite charger app. It worked great.
You set a timer for your Vevor EV Charger, start of stop charging from the app, see statistics on how the charging is going, the history of your charging.

i have a Vevor level 1 and 2 charger that just stopped working after a few months. I contacted their customer service who asked for some virtual ID so I had to download their app to get it. After doing so, the charger started working, not sure why. I found their app not too bad to work with but appreciate this video. Not sure why the charger stopped working and why it started again but it seems like a good product. My OEM charger also started working intermittently which is why i bought the Vevor. thanks for the video

Your video made the difference. I was not able to connect with Globe, but Smart Life using the steps you recommended. I did have to plug to cord to car to connect. Thank you.

Hi guys thanks for the video please i need to know if it's possible to change the charging current while charging or we have to remove the plug from the the car to do it ? (basicly stop charging removing the plug then changing the charge current while disconnected.) Thanks a lot Edit : via smart life app it's possible to change charging current while charging i'm using it to improve my solar pv production. 3 weeks of use not a single issue

Thanks for your advice to switch the app to Globe. It works great with one exception: I programmed Smart Scenes with the Schedule condition, and the charger will not switch to ON at the specified time. I have to use the Delayed Charging mode and specify the length of time to switch it ON. However, the app switches the charger OFF at the time specified in the Smart Scenes/Schedule condition. Is there a way to switch the charger using the Smart Scenes/Schedule condition?

It took a few min to get it on a 2.4 g wifi at my place. It specifies that and your phone has to also be on that 2.4g. Now it works. I'd like to set it up on a hotspot though. I need to experiment.

Will it allow you to get texts and notifications when the unit is finished charging the car?

Related question. I’ve had mine for about a year and it charges great and always connects to the app fine, but it requires me to swipe to start EVERYTIME I plug it in. Most reviews show they just plug and charge without having to use the app. Any advice on how to bypass the app and just plug and charge?

Have you ever had an issue with the “fixed time charge”. I asked it to charge between 00:00 and 05:00.It started when it should have, but then went past 05:00 and carried on charging until I unplugged it at 06:22? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My charger is for in-home use. I would like to turn off the front display when charger is not in use. The display is lit up all day long and every day. I am worried the Led will burn out. On the Smartlife App, there are some settings that can be accessed via Routines. Can someone tell me which settings allows me to turn the front display of the charger On or Off to extend the chargers life?

Thanks for the video! I have Vevor EV-B06-EU003B, and I am not able to pair the charger to Globe/Smart life app. How do I set the charger into pairing mode? Long pressing A, as stated in manual, does nothing. It seems that Vevor customer support has no idea 😂

I had a similar issue. The important thing to note that the lousy manual does not explicitly indicate is that your phone WIFI network MUST be connected to the 2.4GHz frequency range of your WIFI router. By default for better performance, phones will try to connect to 5Ghz or 6Ghz networks which these smart devices are not yet designed to connect with. Go into the settings on your phone and switch the WIFI network to the 2.4Ghz network. The device should be picked up right away and connect without issue.
