thank you so much I had this problem and I couldn't figure in out for more that I changed security setting permission nothing would happen you saved my day.

I have 3 windows 7 pc's. they are networked without any problem. I have 2 windows 10 pc's and cannot access any of the windows 7 pc's. I have the you might not have permission to access the server prompt. I have checked the windows credentials there is nothing there. I Access the other pcs through network on any windows 7 pc but trying on the windows 10 pc brings up the warning.

Wait a minute, isn't this a bad idea? I mean turning off UAC to be able to access admin share?
