The worst part is HE getting absorbed by fkin light tank SIDE tracks like there's no tomorrow. Wasn't the whole idea of the new "IMPROVED" HE the fact that they can now pass through tracks? Since the HE nerf, I've never seen so many 0 damage hits... So stupid... HE shells that no longer explode, nice meme.

11:53 - It has always bugged me that WG can't be bothered to put a correctly sized and positioned cap circle in the minimap! How hard can it be? It would have been very helpful for decapping/capping in crowded caps like this one many times.

I think that Caliban, in the right situation, can be played as a holisitic heavy tank. It trades pretty well you could say, even with 600 ammo, and it bounces the occasional shot in front. I especially like playing top tier assistant when I'm bottom tier myself. Then I primarily shoot premium ammunition.

I never even think of blind shots in my Caliban. My DPM is a lot better now I have given up sniper mode after skil's video last year.

I played one random game in this tank like a month ago and I killed a skoda T56 on full HP (1500 HP) with 2 shots. Was so satisfying. Frontal fight and he took two into the lower plate. It was damn satisfying hitting him twice in a few seconds lol.

You cannot pen Skoda in LFP with Caliban HE, unfortunately. Unless a super lucky RNG high roll. But twice in a row border line impossible.

I'm sure the caliban HE has like 200 pen, maybe even 180. I don't think the skoda has more than that on the lower plate, and that's not a strong point of the skoda. The skoda was on a plateau and I was slightly on an incline which also probably helped.

@@michaelmerjil7874 180mm pen. Skoda LFP has slightly over 200+ mm effective. If angled even more. Pretty angled and auto bounces a lot. The only possible way to pen with 180mm is to shoot from down below, as you mentioned. Twice in a row is superlucky. I m sure it was a meme moment

Ah gotcha. Yeah it was a funny moment. The skoda pushed my flank which was weak and the rest of its heavies quickly blew me up right after. I was still happy tho. I know the skoda wasn't expecting that haha, I wasn't even expecting that! To think the skoda has 200mm of lower plate armor is actually pretty decent. Skoda gun is pretty troll, but doesn't compared to the Caliban. I only have like 15 or less battles in it but gosh it's handling has got to be top 3 worst in the game imo.

Suggestion for wargaming is to sell great looking skins 2D/3D, not just those found in battlepass. Crews for sale like tank commander based on real people with up to 3 skills ready. Battle pass crew should have better skills unlocked to 4 ready, compared to what on sale on store that is up to 3 skills (assuming wg followed through on selling crews on store). But anyway, problem like match making or OP premium tanks will still going to persist. Like skill saying, you can't win them all.

Another example why he mechanic is not working well. Wg and everyone was thinking this is going to be op tank but ist not. Even with 180 he pen its pure lottery if you hit where you aim or pen. Armed with this knowledge the bz was given much better gunhandling, but 70mm pen and 1000 damage he. It was useless, so they changed he in to gold ammo with 220 pen and rest is history. These kind of tanks are impossible to balance in the current high explosive mechanic. Best if wg just stops making any more of these kind of tanks witch i think is the conclusion they did come to at wg. They did remove the derp guns from the bz techtree. As a note here if some one wants to relive derp meme times go play tier 4 american t6 medium. Its got 50mm he pen and 100mm heat pen an is the closest thing that works as derp tanks of the past

Caliban can be 600 dpm vehicle but it can be 1800 clip vehicle as well like i did few times. Just have no expextations if u wanna have good battles over and over again this vehiicle is not for u

850 damage...if you hit anything...or do any damage at all with HE...(according to WG, HE always does damage...well, 4 Caliban HE shells in a row did 0 damage). Seriously, half the time I manage to fully aim the enemy is already dead...or I am. I'm running good equipment, directives, and still it doesn't want to hit anything, even if it's close. Then, 35 seconds to load 2 shells (that almost always miss), it's more painful than stabbing myself in the eye with a fork. Tier 10 arty loads quicker than that, does more damage, aims quicker, and has splash. And you don't get shot back. You'd be better off playing arty than this thing! Then there's the shell velocity. Must be the slowest shells in the game. Don't expect to have any chance of hitting something unless it stops in the open and shouts 'Hey, I'm sitting here, please shoot me' (then at last one of your shells will miss anyway that's to the absolute dog shit accuracy). Don't expect to meet tier 6 (or tier 7) often. I've NEVER met tier 6/7. Either all tier 8's, or 8's, 9's and 10's. Oh, and the armour, much stronk, so stronk every tier 8 pens your turret with standard rounds, never mind your hull! Tier 7's will spam prem at your front, and pen you very shot. It's like the BZ-176, but if the BZ was really, really shit. It's a joke of a tank and needs a buff. Seriously, don't buy it no matter how well Skill can make it work. Everyone else I know that has one agrees, it's a huge steaming pile of shit and needs a serious buff.
