The air brake gasket on top of the hex standoff at the end of the blaster broke on mine. I replaced it just with some fabric as a brake instead, but do you know why it broke?

What does it mean when a barrel is chambered?

It means the ends of the inside of the barrel are slightly tapered: some springers need this for their pusher to work, others do not.

A chambered barrel has a sloped internal diameter on the end that's installed in the breech, more smoothly guiding a dart and sealing the O-ring behind it. Some blasters instead chamber the breech part instead of requiring the barrel itself to be chambered.
