Calico Ranchu Seed

When we say seed fish, we often thought the fish has to be perfect. On the contrary, perfect fish rarely produces perfect offspring. I try to not hang up on perfection in seed fish selection.

Thanks. If I thought about the number of possible combinations from seed fish kept this year its 18 spawns total! That did not include crossing back to the parents about (+4 spawns). I don't think I can do that many spawns this year. I also wish to get another spawn from original parents to try for the kirins and other colors that I lost the year before. I will probably start breeding them around July.
