Oh, my favorite frenemies! (Well, it's a tie between them and the steller's jays, who are so unearthly beautiful.) They're so incredibly bold, it's amazing. No issues jumping around within inches of this predator because they know they're so much nimbler than she is. Ravens: "Hey big lady, you got any of those tasty eggs yet? Hey lady. Hey lady." No eggs yet, sorry, ravens. And with any luck you'll strike out this year because at least one egg will hatch. 😘🤭

​@@cindythomas5895 Where are there crows but not Ravens? I thought they were both pretty much everywhere. I know there are places Ravens prefer. They are both members of the corvid family of birds, terrifically smart. I like most birds but these raven annoy me so much as they pester Jackie. About the only birds I don't like are pigeons, the flying rats of the world.

I don’t understand. What does the raven want? There’s no food in the nest. I am a total neophyte. No real experience with eagles. So I find everything new, interesting, perplexing and yet fascinating!!!!!

A pair of eagles in Florida, M15 and F23, bring them in to feed their Es on a regular basis. They have a live camera as well, you can watch then. Their chicks are hilarious.

I wonder at the audacity of these crows, who are as smart as they are taunting Jackie. Shadow is probably observing this also. Maybe they sense she is going to lay eggs and being competitive, they are trying to stress her enough to prevent her from laying her eggs. If their tiring to keep her away from the nest, that's a no-win deal for them.
