Hey guys, I am back for an updated comment... I FREAKIN PASSED MY WRITTEN TEST on the 1st attempt!!!!!! SO Excited, Y'all!🤩☺ I did it virtually, & literally only missed like 3/4 questions. I couldn't just read the book. I actually stopped reading my book & studied ALOT of these question & answer videos. They are lots of help. You can do it too if you're really serious about it & study throughout the day/ every day.✨

This is a good test to practice just remember that in the actual test the questions are completely randomized so practice on multiple videos. Am 18 so the test had 36 questions but if you’re 17 and under your test will be 46 questions and you can only get 6 (over 18) wrong and 8 (under 17) wrong, and if you fail the test you can take it again right away up to 3 times. If you fail and you’re 17 and under you will have to wait to take it again not sure how long. And just make sure you understand the questions because they might be reworded.And make sure you go over the drivers hand book and if you’re to lazy to read just search up california drivers handbook audio and sit back, relax and listen. And there are no tricky questions.

I have done 50-60 online and KZbin tests. Passed every one of them easily. I also have a California DMV test app for my phone with 25 tests--I can easily pass all of them. I have also passed (100%) all four of the official DMV tests on their website. Yet, I have failed the DMV test three times.

Went today and flunked a couple of the questions were when your brakes are wet how do you dry them? I had no clue but looked it up later press the accelerator and the brake gently until they are dry. Other question when driving on pack snow what do you do correct answer is reduce your speed by 50%. What are the hand positions for the steering wheel I didn't know they were changed from 10:00 and 2 to 9 and 3. Some posters say they have outsourced their tests to a third-party company and all of the tests are new in these questions are not relevant any longer anybody have a site that has newer questions?

When I went and took my test these were not the questions they had a question about driving on a street for electric vehicles but they had an abbreviation for the electric car yeah these questions aren't it

Question #1: Typically correct and abided by-my answer; nonetheless, on steep mountain roads, such as on Highway 9 and on roads en route to and from observatories, for example, I have witnessed vehicles, which are moving slower than vehicles that are following them, move to a safe spot to the right of the narrow road to allow vehicles that are following to pass. This is especially the case for vans and trucks that must safely drive slower than vehicles following them.

@@michaeld6262 fyi, I found this video much harder! I took the advice you and others about saying the link you posted above was harder. So I went there and took their test. They had 40 questions and I got 3 wrong. I took the test on this video which I think had 35 questions, and I got 7 wrong! So maybe it's more about how each of us interprets the questions as well as the facts.

Be aware that these questions are logical and directly related to driving skills and knowledge for driving in California. The actual California DMV test will not necessarily be logical or related to actual driving skills and knowledge. The DMV test will have plenty of questions that are convoluted and are points-of-law unrelated to driving skills (e.g. the monetary penality for someone leaving an accident where someone is injured, etc.). For instance, I have passed 50-60 online or KZbin practice tests rarely making even one mistake I have also easily passed all four of the DMV official practice tests at 100%. However, I have failed the DMV test three times. Be aware.

@@conniemurphyover70stillgla47 Theory: The gov prob targeting older drivers. I am 68. It seems to me DMV cherry-picks tests for us based on difficulty so that we cannot pass. But we are generally in a high-income bracket and the scheme rakes in cash. They know we need to keep trying. I spoke to an 85-year-old who failed 4 times. She is hampered without computer skills. I am not but feel sure they are targeting us. #depopulation

Definitely study the book I flunked today they seem to have all new questions a Reddit poster said they outsourced the test to a third party company and their failure rate is much higher One of my questions was how do you dry your brakes when they are wet. Correct answer is apply pressure to the accelerator and the brake gently until they dry out. They are really going deep for this Of course I missed it actually flunked the whole test because not very many of these questions were on it
