California DMV Written Test 2024 (60 Questions with Explained Answers)

I just pass the California test today. This video is very bad. DMV will never tell “close your eyes and keep driving!” I highly recommend you read the 100page CALIFORNIA DRIVER’S HANDBOOK pdf. I was well prepared and still got 5 mistakes. Some really tricky questions.

@@douglassmith7759 only the official 100page DMV PDF and the official DMV quiz. Also for context been driving for 20y and from Canada. I believe people under 21 have different questions. Prepare to remember alcohol levels, fines amount, you have to pay, marijuana, 500 and 300 high beam, etc

A lot of questions are missing, this is not even worth to study is just common sense, the hard ones are about parking uphill with a curve, without a curve, downhill, what is the the penalty for a hit and run,????? all that nonsense but I found in the test that I failed.

I am taking the exam again next Friday after my three tries any tips before I take the Written exam again this Friday morning? I am studying the questions on here, I am also studying sample questions on the DMV website, on the DMV APP, the DMV questions on KAHOOT and I am reading the DMV handbook. Question 15 could be either A or B, I would watch these question it might confuse you. A. Let the cross-traffic pass before proceeding / B. Yield to pedestrian before crossing.

I purchased the premium test thinking it was specific to California. Some questions would make you believe it is but once you get going then it is easily discernible that it is not. Additionally, some of the answers did not match the questions, as in, the answers had nothing to do with the questions asked. I feel it was a waste of my money.

my son got that one too! so random! we found the answer in the book. at that point, it is like a trivia quiz....so not important compared to other things like how to merge safely onto a freeway, or how to not be a freaking tailgater.

No it isn't wrong. I thought it was wrong as well, but you might've thought of how alcohol could affect you while driving, but it's actually asking how alcohol can affect different people based on the factor of weight. Basically the answer is weight because depending on your weight alcohol affects you differently. For example if you weigh less you aren't able to drink as much because your blood alcohol percentage would be higher then a bigger person's percentage would be if they drank the same amount.
