The people wanted him now they can deal with all of the consequences. No more excuses for his decisions this time. He has the house, the senate, and the supreme court on his side.

@ the people of the United States wanted him, the people of California do not. For every $5 we send the federal government government in taxes we only get $1 back. I say we secede.

Central Valley guideway construction is at about 80-90% and on track for 2026 completion. The last step in construction is to mount the rails and they're starting this process right now. So 2027-2028 we're about to see those new trains that they're ordering doing tests. Exciting times ahead!

Rather than try to get more funding, these people need to be cooperating with the state to greatly reduce the cost of the project.

In what ways? Concrete and steel are very expensive. Labor is very expensive. Right-of-way in California is very expensive. It's not like billions are just slipping through the cracks.
@Dkrpan593 күн бұрын
Didn’t need two rails at this time it would been so much cheaper look how fast will go to the upper and lower points that extra money could have been spent extending to San Diego and San Francisco

A second track doesn’t cost much more and quadruples capacity
@walterkennedy94743 күн бұрын
Also you can actually run trains in both directions. 2 tracks are absolutely critical to a functional train network

transit force sale center to gilroy is shared ROW with caltrain including multiple at grade crossings. They shouldve started from Gilroy to Merced; however, tunneling through the tehachepi pass isnt fully funded

Yes you do. Here in Utah we originally built FrontRunner mostly single track. Now we're adding enough doubletracking to double service interval frequency, at a much steeper cost than it originally would have been.
