@ i looked it up before cus i was skeptical that such small battery woudl get you far. sure enough it’s junk. i highly recommend the ebikeling kit front wheel conversion since it’s easier than rear. you get a handle bag and cut a hole on the bottom and put the controller inside

I hope it yields good data to support a larger number of people getting bikes in a future expansion of this program. One note, "with the money you save, buy a really good lock!" We went through this before with the Cash for Clunkers program. Gave away taxpayer money for people to buy a brand new cars. Of course there was an arbitrary cut off for income, and model year of the old car. So the person whose car was one year too old for the program (i.e. he was in greater need of a new car) helped pay for his neighbor to get a new car.

I use ebike to commute because I am a low-income citizen in this expensive California economy. Ebikes are nice, but rain, low-temperatures, theives, and dangerous drivers are always a problem.
