Stripers galore in Nor Cal surf; like late '50's. WHY? Lots of bait? Great production? Draught? Sand crabs or lures for bait? Stripers are a top predator and will eat/feed on anything that passes in front of them. True or not true?

I was there when low tide in the morning. I waited, until water started going up and then fish started biting.
