Hey, Juliette. Ride looked like a ton of fun (especially with the crew) & totally inspiring. In looking for the route in Strava, for some reason it's not showing. Any ideas or is it necessary to do a follow request to see the dailies? Thanks & great job.

Total peace and unlimited freedom, yes it's about time to leave the road, cars, traffic and pollution, and head for some trail/gravel fun. My Apidura seatpack also hits my wheel. After a few days riding in MTB trails with it, I start ignoring that swish sound because slowing down for bumps sucks! After 2 two week trips, no scuff marks even though it hit the tire countless times on bumps and dips. Planning to make an inner lightweight plate to minimize that though, sort of a liner that would line the bottom. I have at least 3inch clearance but under a whipping force the bag flexes....gotta sort that out! Thanks for the vid!
@AngelsRapture5 жыл бұрын
Everyone’s setup is a bit wonky the first few times out. With the countless bit of gear available on the market, it’s a given you will look like a seasoned pro in no time! The growler mount will prove it. As usual way too much fun as it should be. Just another sweetest of days.

And as far as the person who got injured it depends really on how bad the wound was usually I just glue it with super glue if it's worse than that then I use a combination of a butterfly stitch with duct tape and then the glue if it's really bad I have a few more details for such things because I literally had to stitch myself up in the leg after pulling out a branch out of my knee

Julie - awesome vid. Beautiful scenery. Great pick on the route. Definite opportunity for improvement on your fire ring. Having suffered through the Thomas fire, the second largest in Cal history, I kind of cringed watching your fire so close to combustible fuel. I am happy that a ranger was nowhere nearby. Take it from a camper/packer who has been cited for fire ring no no, be careful in Cali with fire. Cheers!

So sorry if you have a video explaining this, already, but what container do you suggest using when flying with your bike? Pittsburgh bike shops are so limited as far as box and equipment rentals, etc, so I’ll probably have to buy one. What brands do you suggest, any nice features we should know about when comparing brands, any pro tips when packing my bike; any and all suggestions would be a big help! Thanks!
