The last scene with the four units, pulling and pushing up the hill. What a gorgeous picture. 👍

So familiar these trains over the Cajon Pass! I’ve been fascinated with them since the early 50s. Great video!

Ok for full train footage from slight distance. Shot from interesting locations on curves. Some really long trains. Thanks for sharing.

Oh the soothing sounds of steel wheels scraping around bends in the track.

Great job. I cannot get my head around the size of freight trains these days!

Yes, and that's the thing, although the US is bad for passenger rail service, among the worst in the world, it's freight rail is right at the top and by a long way. If only we could have dedicated passenger track and configured something along the lines of the Shinkansen then we could have the best of both worlds.

Really enjoying your Video and it will be interesting to see how the road changes adjust the viewing of the summit ... was just up there over the weekend at 60.22mile post

I assume they would keep it accessible. They still have the dirt road to Hill 582 accessible from the new highway.

Sometimes we humans can have the ability to be a pain in the ass. But when it comes to the pain the ass known as Google and their stubborn ability to push their product known as Chrome, we can be more of a pain in the ass than Google is. And I think that's a pretty damn good thing. It's good to be a pain in the ass.
