Eternity ~ Memories of Lightwaves // FF X-2 Piano Collections

This took months, it's honestly way trickier than it looks so I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome, a few stumbles here and there but nothing too bad I think?
I have a weird relationship with the Piano Collections arrangement. At first, I didn't like it all that much, I thought it was an unusual piece, parts of it sounding plain weird, contrasting with the nice and simple melody. With time I got used to it though and it's now one of my favorite things to play~
I'm very proud of 2:47 that took Ages to get right lol, also the part from 4:46 tried to kill my right hand

This has to be one of my all time favourites from the Final Fantasy Piano Collections. I can play this to about 4:27 and then my fingers can't get to the keys fast enough for all those notes. You play it so well Caliko. I have added this video to my favourites. Your performance here is better than the recording on the official album! I love your music!

Thank you! And I do have a tip for the fast part because I couldn't play it at first either - it's pure stamina training. Try and play that part slowly, but very strongly, raise your fingers and think of it as literally having to build the physical strength to play it. You could also look for something like an etude that'd strengthen your right hand, either way, it's doable, so good luck!

How does this only have 400+ likes. I love this arrangement. I felt like some of the parts you added had a tension that really adds to the overall song making the crescendo that much more satisfying. I felt like there was a story in this version of the song if that makes any sense.

Wow final fantasy i played these growing up I love this song what an amazing performance so emotional and raw I’m no professional pianist but you played this beautifully and it gave me nostalgic moments of me playing all the games through my life and to do that to move someone in such a way with their sheer talent is that not what a true musician is ? (But what do I know lol ) caliko please could you do Tokyo ghoul unravel it’s a big ask as I believe it to be difficult but I have no doubt in your talents to hit this out of the park even if you have time for just a short version it would be very appreciated and thanks for all your other content it’s great 👍
