Anyone who is smart and understands real winning basketball should understand that these guys are little 175-190 lbs 6-1 6-2 ft tall We have zero big guys with NOONE being recruited !! It’s the same thing that’s hurting us now ! No big guys down low to do the heavy work inside .. if cal is such a good coach why is he not absolutely targeting big men … My guess is MUSS @ USC will have a better record than Calipari the next three years just wait and see

When Cal refused to start Reed Sheppard or Rob Dillingham over Wagner and Justin Edwards it was the last straw. Sheppard or Dillingham didn't start a game unless Wagner was hurt. They both got drafted in the 1st round. The only reason those 2 didn't start was Cal refused to admit he was wrong.

Kentucky fan here. You sort of "have" to have high quality freshman, and if you can pair them with good older players, I think it can be a great combination. But, Cal has had that for a while now, and hasn't been able to win with them. I still say you need better coaching to use that talent properly, and I'm not sure your staff has that.

The only problem with two 5* freshmen guards is it's going to run off Wagner. That's where the revolving cycle of Cal's roster building philosphy faiils. I dont care how good they are, it's very hard to win in 2025 with freshman guards.
