I lived in San Francisco from 1990 to 2000. Thank you for posting this. I miss the City. Don't believe all you see on TV from a certain station. Yes, San Francisco does have a homeless problem and perhaps it's gotten worse. That's only a small part San Francisco. Don't be afraid to visit and remember to bring your leather jacket since it's usually cold.

Exactly... hating on the city is a national sport... but it's all good... the lady by the bay is still breathtakingly beautiful, and for those who still care about the truth, we know that most of her crime and homelessness is imported.

The only good news for downtown SF is that it isn't the only downtown in the country that is suffering. It has a lot of company.
