This is very amusing!! I have spent longer than the entire video on a WRONG number!! People DO NOT WANT TO TAKE THE CALL and definitely do NOT PAY that easily!! If it were this easy I wouldn't be looking on KZbin for tips to help me be a better collection agent!! Anyone can do what she just did. Would be nice to see some realistic collections and see how others overcome challenges and have a conversation with someone who does NOT want to talk to you and would come up with every excuse in the world to end the call, and even more excuses as to why they can not pay. I would love it if getting someone to pay was that easy!! Show some video of what you say when someone says "I don't have a job", "I don't have any money", "I have been in jail and that is why I am behind", "I am living in my car", "I have cancer and couldn't pay while I was out of work getting Chemo".....come on MAKE IT REAL!!

Sara B and don’t you feel like shit trying to collect money from someone who really doesn’t have the money? Especially since it’s not even owed to the collection agency, it’s owed to the original creditor. It’s so great now though, we all know our rights when it comes to collection agencies, so you losers have no chance of collecting that $200 bill from 10 years ago from someone. I have no debt, but I’ve done extensive research so I know what collection agencies are like.

@@SakuraaaHarmony No I don't feel like crap....I collect all day long and if someone wants their circumstances to change then we work with them to do things the original creditors couldn't or wouldn't. They do owe the money and if you read the fine print on any of your credit cards there is mention that account can be sold if defaulted on. It's still legally due. And everyone thinks they're an expert because of something they read online. If you handle your finances based on crap you read well good luck to you!! Hope that gets you everything you ever wanted. *bankruptcy, debt consolidation with shady companies, years of not being able to have the car you want, house you want or credit score you want! Because that is all CHOICE! I sleep fine at night and feel I am doing my part to help people with a second chance. People will tell you anything to get off the phone and try to avoid it, but a week later call back and pay the full balance that they OWE. So while I have empathy for people and what they have gone through I know "where there is a will there is a way" and if someone truly wants to recover from financial hardships that takes making some action. We have an entire legal department and I guarantee collecting debt is a legal process and we follow the laws to the full extent. I hope you feel like crap telling a single mother of 5 she should feel bad about providing for her family with the BEST career possible to do that. I'm a person too! (But I'm a person with excellent credit and that doesn't come to those who make excuses!)

Yeah, we are more equipped now than ever. Knowing our rights and such protective forces such as FDCPA and FCC... don't those words make you shiver? hahaha! and phrases like "Oh... you BOUGHT my debt from my original debtor and I am not under contract with your third party or obligation to give you squat." ROFL, Oh, the joy of wasting debt terrorists' time on the phone. Call me, lets have some fun... no wait... never mind, my debts are already past the STATUE OF LIMITATIONS. ahahahahahahaha!!!!

Collection Agencies BUY YOUR DEBT. That means you no longer owe anything to ANYBODY! Isn't that nice of them? Now go spend your money and have lots of fun with them on the phone when they try to collect over a debt that they bought and you are in no contract with them to give them shit. Well, you can give them shit if you want, In fact enjoy keeping them tied up on the phone as long as possible that way they're not making any commission or harassing anybody else. Have fun and congratulations on not owing your debt anymore!

Not all agencies buy the debt they collect. They are hired by the creditor to collect the balance on the creditor's behalf.

You wouldn't have to if you paid what you owe to start with! Great advice....how many times have you filed bankruptcy? Or are you one of the ones that is going to pay your phone bill for a phone you don't answer so you can get away with something. Not paying for stuff you bought is STEALING....and if you have a credit card financial genius...I'd recommended you read the fine print. It is legal to sell defaulted debt. And if you think avoiding it is gonna help well enjoy 7 years of whatever avoiding it gets you. (Bad credit, a phone that rings all day long, legal actions and knowing by not paying it YOUR stealing. So great advice!! Run credit cards up, furnish your house with stolen goods and when the original creditors get sick of your crap deal with whoever they sell your debt to. And fyi, I bought a house....a week later my mortgage was sold to another lender....does that make my house paid for? Loans are bought and sold all day long! You still owe it just different owner.

@@yugihlh so pay this guy... pay his fees to settle your debts for pennies on the dollar and make promises....more people are scammed by 3rd parties that make empty promises than by taking care of it themselves. Don't pay collection agency....pay yugioh he will fix you right up!!
