I remember being amazed with this show because Leo seemed to know everything about IT and that he could solve any problems given. Quite inspirational I must say.

Call for Help is a Legendary Tech show and will me missed forever but the Lab is keeping the Great show going

WOW! This was an episode before Windows XP or Mac OS X. Before those were Mac OS 9 and Windows 2000 or Windows ME, 98, or 95. Also, cool edit pro became Adobe Audition. And iVista, REALLY!?! Wow, that is just insane! The cultural references in this video are just amazing. Plus, Leo did come back to Call for Help only to be dropped again because of the G4/TechTV merger by parent company Comcast. It is all just amazing to see this stuff from 2001 now in 2009! One word: AMAZING!

I remember this in 2003. Now all we have to use is the internet to fix issues. Those were the days man!

That is why I liked Call For Help and The Screen Savers. The hosts made you feel good about technology because they like it just as much.

Got sad watching James Kim. One never knows how things will end up in life. He was so young and his family very much precious. Here's to a great guy and a good family man.

I love Leo. He should bring this show back on TWiT. I know "The Tech Guy" is a little bit like this, but he should do another video call in show.

3,000$ for a 38" RCA tv with a built in digital tuner 12 years later you can't even give one away, infact you have to PAY people to take them away. And to think our representatives were lobbying against this technology. HAH. Now you just go to walmart to get a 55" 4k smart tv for 400$

G4 had nothing to do with it. COMCAST (who owns G4) bought TechTV and then merged the two because TechTV was on more cable channels at the time and they wanted to pump G4 into it. I think that both channels suffered. If you miss Leo, listen to his podcasts. Search for him on iTunes. I love them!

Make sure you see the Poll question. How much would you spend for HDTV. The majority said $500 or less, boy were we wrong back then.

Yea both G4 and techtv were great channels, puting them together though led to horrible things, now gamers hardly get a channel about games, and geeks don't get their technology needs at all. Comcast sucks.
