Looking at this as an adult now, this is legitimately solid advice for the time. Leo really did recommend the cheapest options when the person on the phone was clearly on a strict budget. Nowadays this isn't really needed, but Leo provided a very important service for a good decade on Canadian TV.

I was in junior high school when I first discovered this show. Unfortunately, I lived in the West Coast and because it was a live program, it aired at 12pm while I was in school. I used to cut class and go back home to watch Call for Help! LOL. Sometimes I would skip school entirely so I can could stay home and watch. Ha ha ha!.... good times.

I miss this show.. I created a playlist on here with all these zdtv/screensavers/techtv vids.. let em play non stop. My dad and I watched alot of these back in the day.. wish this show was still around these days.. sadly tech has changed.. most people use phones now and not desktops.
