Call for more ‘tough talk’ from Joe Biden on China

Menzies Research Centre’s Nick Cater has called for more “tough talk” from President Joe Biden on China.
The President on Wednesday called for higher tariffs on Chinese metal products in a bid to please US steelworkers.
He proposed tripling the current tariffs imposed by his predecessor Donald Trump.
“I just think tariffs are not the way to go,” Mr Cater told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“What about just a bit of tough talking? Putting a line in the sand over Taiwan for example.”

There to many countries that are depending on China for everything instead of making and manufacturing things in their own countries , that would create jobs in all their countries to depend on China too much is not a good thing.imo
