Call Forwarding is so SIMPLE to get up and running!

If you've ever needed to give out a phone number to someone you really didn't want to give your primary phone number, this is the tutorial for you. We're going to get a temporary or business phone number set up to forward to our cell phone and the process is super simple.
We'll use Twilio Programmable Voice and a Twilio CodeExchange Quick Deploy project to get this working. We'll start with nothing and with the click of a few buttons we'll have a Twilio phone number forwarding phone calls to our phone. It'll be up and running before you know it!
NOTE: I made a mistake in this video where I added the .say(). That message gets read to the caller, not to the connected call. So, it should have said something like "Thanks for your call, connecting you to Brent." The call forwarding still works but the message is wrong. Sorry about that!

so when I add the `say()` line it actually is heard by the caller not my personal phone on incoming calls. I removed it. Don't know if that was changed. but the person calling the 888 number hears it not me.

[SOLVED] I was able to do it using TwiML bin... NOT STUDIO FLOW. Here's the video for reference: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6vKnqeXZs2IeNE All incoming calls from my Twilio biz number now warn me if the call is coming from my Twilio biz line so I can answer professionally.

Thanks for this video. Question. How can I forward a Twillio Subaccount's phone number? When I log in, I only see the main account phone number.

I had an abandoned cart in my store and I would like to call my customer right now. how to configure this? I thought of something like: as soon as I receive an abandoned cart in my store. a system directly forwards this number to a spreadsheet and Twilio triggers it automatically. it is possible?

Is there a specific problem you're having? I'm not familiar with IE1 numbers personally (this is Brent in the US), but I can ask my colleagues.

@@TwilioDevs This "deploy" button only adds to the US location, not to the UK location :( Other things like Twilio Studio and Bins also do not work with IE1 numbers/locations.

What phone emulator are you using to check if call forwarding is working?

That's my actual phone! I used Reflector to capture it (www.airsquirrels.com/reflector) and then added the recorded phone audio at edit time.
