Anytime Nataly breaks out from singing just above a whisper and gets loud and really blasting out her voice, Pomplamoose jumps from great to totally freaking amazing. Makes me wonder why she doesn't do it more often.

Because doing this while you're dealing with life and everything takes so much endurance, time, energy and commitment. Having an extra person adds more schedule complexity. As long as you never stop doing! Frequency doesn't really matter.

Pomplamoose covering classics are the best! (I miss your "mashup" covers where you best displayed the spirit of your transformative arrangements)

Yes! So, hear me out: what if we had the chorus melody of I Was Made For Lovin' You (KISS) over the Dorian vamp of Use Me (Bill Withers). I think the two would mash nicely musically and the implied lyrical mashup has this provocative irony.

This is amazing. Especially the energy of the band after the drop around 2:12 made me smile. The joy of music really radiated through; the band had that "can't stop smiling while playing" vibe that is literally one of the best feelings in the world. Also great arragement and playing and all, but the energy and joy really does it for me.

How very 80s with more synths than any other instrument, and the bright pink jackets. All you needed was the long fringes (do you call hair over your face a ‘fringe’ in the US?) over your eyes and serious expressions for that new wave look. Great cover. Good to see Erin again with back up vocals. Nataly and Erin always sound great together. Loved it.

@@oldvlognewtricks yeah, thought so. Weird word. A bit like ‘diaper’. Where did that word come from? Very strange. Still Americans are weird with their inches and gallons. But we love them. Well, the ones who don’t take themselves too seriously- the talented ones and well most of the rest of them.

You've done a great job of retaining Moroder's production feel while bringing Call Me to a wonderful new place, and also of getting the Debbie Harry vocals feeling respected not copied. Hearing this makes me want to hear you all cover Moroder's entire Metropolis soundtrack (and maybe also "Follow Me" previously covered by Debbie Harry as a synth-vocals track.)
