Hey folks! In today’s video we’re back with more gold stake Balatro. In this run, a few early Eternal Jokers made me assume that everything was set, but there ended up being some options to improve the run for endless as it progressed. Enjoy the video!
Balatro is a poker roguelike deck building game centered around creating powerful synergies and winning with big hands. In it, you can combine valid poker hands with unique Jokers in order to create varied synergies and builds. Earn enough chips to beat blinds, including challenging boss blinds, to make it to the next ante and progress your run!

I feel like all the "gain 0.X amount of mult per [specific interaction]" cards tends to fall off insanely hard late game So what about this: Make their gain _compounding_ instead. Could be at a smaller effect, but imagine if Vampire/Constellation got 1.1x for each "hit" then just round to closest first decimal on the scoring. their effects would be around 2.6x after 10 hits, 6.7x after 20 (Tho obviously, the compounding effect would probably be put at weaker number tho, so if instead they got 1.05x it would reach: 1.6x at 10, 2.7x at 20, 4.3x at 30, 7x at 40, etc

The negative skip tag is really bad, especially at gold stake where Jokers can be rental/perishable/eternal. It’s not likely that a random Joker is going to be helpful, particularly when you already have a full set of 5 and you’re depending on specific synergies. Even on Anaglyph when I hit for like 8 negatives, most of what I get is junk. I do think the negative voucher is good, but only because the Joker you make negative is already good enough to be in your set.
