In fact, I believe it’s unclear whether AlphaZero was ever stronger under typical conditions than the state-of-the-art version of Stockfish at the time- in the famous match, an old version of SF was used, they gave both sides a minute per move (which nullified SF’s huge time-management advantage), and I believe the hardware used favored SF somewhat.

You should analyse more engine games. No top gm really does it, maybe because they use those engine games to improve and surprise their opponents.

Because most engine games are very tedious if they are close to equal in strength. Like a multitude of tiny improving moves, but out of say a 1,000 games you might get a select few that are active, and between those even less that might be interesting lol. Any engine games I have seen people show they normally have to make it exciting via oratory skills lol.

One mistake is too much in chess. Such an insane line to casually say but is makes you understand the difference between top level players and mere mortals. They would be able to punish the slightest mistake. I bet e5 and a4 were inaccuracies too not actual mistakes.
