best part in the whole saga of Kevin playing these games was harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban on the pc. when he glitches the game so the dialogue from the previous bit of gameplay continues into the cutscene absolutely brilliant.

imo it lost a lot of what made it great when he started getting other people to edit his videos. The new editors just feel so corporate and generic and don't have that same style that Kev used to put into his editing. I would argue that Kev's editing style is part of what made his videos really good.

I miss the lower key editing style. I feel like I'm watching ADHD turned into video with all the cuts and sound effects and whatnot. I wish he still kept up some of the full game playthrough series. I was watching the Harry Potter playlist again and was amazed at how much longer 12 minute videos felt in that series than they do now.

I'm pretty sure I remember buying or renting all the HP video games when I was a kid. The only two I could play without rage quitting was Goblet of Fire and Order of Pheonix. I owned both games for the PS2. Order of Pheonix was my absolute favorite though. You had to move one of the joysticks in different patterns to cast different spells. I remember thinking the graphics were so good that I actually felt like I was in Hogwarts. All the students had on a neat black cardigan with a single stripe at the bottom indicating what house they were in. Most times, I wouldn't even play the story line, I'd just spend hours running around the school and going to different rooms. The game itself even came with a little Marauders Map inside the case that I used every time I just wanted to walk around the school.
