You can put theia in any orientation and her rage skills hero skill damage increase will affect whoever she is with. In fact you could argue that she is better as a commander because once she uses her rage skill, the deputy will get the damage increase the moment later when they use their rage skill. That pattern will repeat, but having her as a deputy you have to wait until the second rotation of rage skill uses to get the damage increase.

That's definitely true, I'm just not sure I love her talent trees as a Commander but more testing has to be done for sure :) Thanks for the insight!

I personally would’ve put Atheus at the 4th spot for the epics. For a couple of reasons. Mages having longer range than archers is actually a big deal. I’ve noticed in war that archers get ripped apart so easily because they have to move in closer than mages and get targeted so easily. My second reason is that Atheus pairs up with Theia SO well. If you make a celestial flying March with the two of them you can have a March that is almost as fast as cavs and is super tanky. That’s just my opinion though and I appreciate the CoD videos!

Yeah I really debated putting Atheus on here since he also has every skill doing something in open field but I think the “meta” right now is not a good representation of what the game is really going to be like in just a few months, so I opted for the hero I thought might age a bit better. But we’ll see! I could be completely wrong 🙏 still learning what I can

deputies talents dont play any part in the legion so if you're never going to commander him it doesn't matter.

Yeah he’s a good generic tank that doesn’t require much investment to provide value but in the long run I’m not convinced he’ll be as used as he is now, except maybe with Madeline like I mentioned in the video. Sort of how Richard is a good tank early game in RoK but useless later

Until the level reset happens and you realise there will be no point to ever using epics as nothing has "long term value" because you are going to need to re-level your gatherers every reset. The meta will become whoever has the least of a life and the most money. Imagine in ROK if the next SoC all your commanders became level 1 and you lost all your books. Its like crystal tech on steroids

@alexz. cc no, the levels (including talents) get reset, but ur hero skills and star level do not. Imagine spending a hundred or so to level up a legendary skill-set, then it gets reset💀

If a deputy has 10% bonus on darklings and dark creatures 🦣 will the army benefit from the bonus since the hero is a deputy than being the commander? Such as Assassin's Covenant from Nka when she is a deputy. Will the legion has 10% bonus from her Assassin's Covenant on darklings and dark creatures if Nika is a deputy

Just leave it there and max out both of them, it’ll take a little bit of luck to get the first finished but it’ll happen eventually, no big deal :)
