For anyone who has the exact same issue as me and none of these has worked, this may be the solution. Install ONLY the Call of Duty base game. No features, no addons. Then after launching the Call of Duty app, accept the EULAs, and allow the game to restart ("Update requires restart."). The game actually restarted without crashing, and then I kicked off the BO6 beta install IN-GAME.

it launched first when I downlaoded then it said update requires restart, I presses restart and then I got an Activision error and since then I have this error

Same once you update the game after first boot up it literally corrupts your game files putting you into a endless loop of “Reinstalling” the game Microsoft knows this is a issue and has YET to make a fix or patch for this also some ppl are reporting being banned playing off the Xbox app as well….typical Xbox release smdh

Can confirm this worked for me, I was going crazy trying to figure this out. I tried literally every other solution to crashes and nothing worked except this. I had to literally uninstall it to work as well, closing it did not help, it needs to be completely deleted.

None of these worked. I finally fixed it by moving the installation location of the COD app to my C: drive and now it works fine. This really annoys me because I try to keep my C drive completely clean and I have a second NVMe drive I use for storing all my games.

every time it opens it keepts telling me to restasrt for an update edit: i fixed it by going into xbox app and click manage files and delete the black ops 6 files. then open the game and click on bo6 and it gives u the option to install bo6 files. it fixed after this

If you have faceit anticheat installed that will crash your game delete face it anti cheat (it trips the cod anti cheat) and should be good to go

Next time you make a fix video, for the love of god, don't waste time with the mouse jittering around bullshit, we can understand simple things you tell us to do and we can clearly see, you don't need to make loops around a button that is right in front of our eyes, also the same with text, we can read that ourselves, no need to jitter the mouse pointer around on that either.
