Call of Duty Black Ops II - 4 player split screen on PC with Nucleus Co-op & finally with aim assist

The handler was last updated on 19/08/2024, changes include the following:
Console window is now hidden for better performance, the hotkeys have been changed as follows: Press F2 or press the SELECT+START buttons simultaneously on your gamepad to start the match, the other instances will connect shortly after automatically. To quickly restart the match press F3 or press the SELECT+Y buttons simultaneously on your gamepad. To swap bumper/trigger buttons (useful for playstation gamepads) press F4 or press the HOME button on your gamepad, only once all players are in the match)
- Multiplayer now supports up to 8 players split-screen. Zombies only up to 4.
IMPORTANT: If you are updating the handler from a previous version, please be sure to delete content folder first. My reddit guide below explains how to do that.

@@bedirhan8048 only fix i found was to always have mouse as one player but that gives you max 3 controller players. I run 2 screens and a tv so 3 controller on the tv then 1 mouse player on my monitor that no one plays as

Hey, i read your reddit post and watched the video but couldn't get controllers to work in game, could do split screen with mouse and keyboard player 1 controller player 2 and get into a match. But the mouselook couldn't be enabled it was just unbound in settings and could only be set to keyboard keys, and the controller would not work in game at all. I tried 2 controllers but it came up asking to take over processes, which i did, and the game would never start. I allowed it to take over 2 processes as requested but it never boots.

hey i have an issue with the mw2 handler. It used to work fine, however the lan dedicated server dosent start now. Reinstalled the handler and problem still exists. Edit: its only with the dlc maps. I have them installed though

it's basically like running 4 instances of the same game, so in short the answer is yes. i was able to get away with 60 fps 4 players on my old surface book 2 so anything on par or above that would work great.

I got the game to launch, my friend on Parsec has to use keyboard and mouse, and I have to use controller. We can get into the game but him using the virtual mouse and keyboard barely functions it spins around and he cant use his arrow keys or wasd. When I have it as normal mouse and keyboard and my controller the buttons work fine, but I have to set it as virtual for him to use it and it doesnt work well

Hello everyone I was trying to play BO2 split screen locally with my brother. But when I do the mouse’s right click doesn’t work and sometimes drops inputs during gameplay. I’ve noticed when I have inputs unlocked my mouse and keyboard are fine however then the controller doesn’t work. Then when I lock inputs the controller works but the mouse doesn’t. I also have an issue with the cursor leaving trails all over the screen. Is there any way to fix this?

hello guys i've had a problem wich is whenever i try to play w/o k&m and just controller the game dosen't start and it gives a menu to start instance and in the end it leads to nowhere. hopefully i've find a soloution which is steam input as a keyboard and mouse and here is how to use it. ad nucleus coop to steam library then use my layout (nucleus b2ce controller layout) for the first controller only and the others well work w/o any problems. then in the game set the keys as needed and enjoy! i hope you found this comment helpful and if there's any quetions reply to me.

Not working for me. Only Player 1 instance is launched. Nothing more. No errors no warnings. UPnP is disabled too. Nuclus as admin. Legit steam version was installed and steam was closed. Nuclus detects the controller but doesn't launch the second instance, only the first one i.e KBM Edit - Okay so restarting the PC helped and now it launched 2 instances but somehow they don't connect.

I need help: yesterday i could run the nucleus just fine with two instance working just fine also. however today i try again and the First Instance is frozen but i can still control the instance (i can hear the sounds). and when i do Ctrl+ T and pop it back up the first instance turn into a black screen (still can control the instance) Please help i've been trying to fix it for already 4 hours still nothing NOTE: i tried using nucleus 3 instances and it worked ?? but when i tried nucleus with a single instance it did the same probleme so I really dont know what's happening

​@@perseveruz3960 still didn't work :( (i already had the latest handler 12 days ago was when i first installed) the first instance is still frozen but when i use the 3 instance method i was talking about, it worked yesterday but now im trying again but the F2 doesn't make the other players join, i tried all i know i can do: 1.Start with Administrator 2.Delete Nucleus Content Folder (didn't work) 3. Try disabling my Antivirus (Window Defender) (didn't work) 4. Delete the handler and reinstall the handle then tried to run nucleus as administrator, didn't work, without administrator, didn't work either 5.(On Zombie) I tried the method a comment on your reddit mentioned abt going on solo, take the same map then i do F2, didn't work also the latest handler is in ur reddit post right? Are you on windows 11, and if so, have you tried point vi) Only for Windows 11 users: In case the hotkeys to connect your instances and to quickly restart your match are not working (F2, F3, and Start/Select button on controller) go to Settings - Privacy and Security - For Developers. Then under Terminal select the option 'Windows Console Host' . Regrettably, Windows Terminal breaks the hotkeys.

also another thing that comes to mind is are you undervolting your gpu by any chance? I ask this as it was one of the root causes for crashes for me sometime back. Also, please be sure that none of the hotkey are being/have been deleted. To be sure compare whatever is in the handler zip folder to what has been actually extracted. Last but not least, whenever you update a handler, it is crucial that you delete content folder (this process is explained in the guide). Good luck!

I'm having issues doing this on the ROG Ally. I've disabled the embedded controller and I have all 4 instances loaded, but I can't start the match. I had already set it up on 2 other computers no problem the exact same way and used F2 to start the matches, but on the ROG Ally I'm unable to start the match with F2 or holding the Start button on the controller. I am using 4 PS5 Controllers converted to XInput through WinDS4 software and like I said, it worked perfectly fine on my desktop and laptop. Do you have any recommendations?

Update: Ran as Admin and now it is able to start match, but now my P2 Instance is not joining the match. I see the "Joining Game Session" notification appear on the second instance but it doesn't join the match. I restarted the match by holding select to see if that worked but it didn't. Not sure what to do from here.

it's explained in the handler description, but in short to play over LAN, ONLY the guest PC will need to select the last 1-3 digits of the Host PC's IP address the games launch options in Nucleus, then once all the instances have finished positioning/resizing, press F2 or press the SELECT+START buttons simultaneously on your gamepad of guest PC to connect all the guest instances to the host PC
