Call of Duty Classic vs Finest Hour Stalingrad Landing Sequence Comparison

One of the most iconic attributes of Coll of Duty series are scripted scenes that were are showing spectacular heroic actions. One of the most memorable is Stalingrad Landing sequence which was featured in CoD Classic and released only for consoles Finest Hour. Let's compare how both games are approaching this historical event. Which one do you like better?

I feel that finest hour has a better get ready for this war. But that is comming from a person who grew up on finest hour. I think it is the best call of duty ww2 game ever.

I first played the big red one and world at war in my PS2 but after I got the finest hour i instantly made it as my favorite. The soundtrack, the missions, everything made me love this game. I just got the finest hour recently for my PS2, so I still didn't finished it, but i simply can't hate this game

@@devinhigoy221 your TV settings only. They didn't have much fancy chit in 2004 when they were starting out with consoles like they got in CoD 2

@@russ8161 Thank you I couldn't see anything in the 1st mission, and it is so weird to change the settings on your tv in order to turn up the brightness. I have never had to do this before. Somehow I managed to get to the sewer level by only being able to see enemies through them shooting at me.

I have never experienced the intense, dark feeling that finest hour gives off. From the loading screen, to Stalingrad, to North Africa, to Remagen. The whole game, utterly intense, brutal! Closest game that gave me that feeling was World at War. Finest hour really is an underrated masterpiece. Voice acting... just incredible.

First level of finest hour is the most intense realistic experience. Striking Stalingrad with sgt puskov with all the details along the way and those MGs shooting down at you felt more genuine than any other game. Heavy scene

I like finest hour has more of a “we are fighting against invaders and for our country!” Instead of the vibe from 1 being like “we are holding a gun to your head to force you to fight”

Finest Hour was my first Call of Duty game, I picked it up at GameStop for 5 bucks and played it on my old GameCube. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

And when you storm the last German position before the Hill level in Finest Hour 15:45, it's also a kickass scene when they all go URAAAAAA, much louder and more thundering than in COD Classic

The speech and darker atmosphere in Finest Hour was amazing. However, in the end Call Of Duty 1 is superior in terms gameplay, graphics, etc.

@@dk709SGT PC has superior graphics and a wider variety of games. I could run finest hour with 20x the graphics on my pc rn using an emulator. You can also mod games, manage files, download 3rd party applications. It's not even a contest at this point. (god i just realized how much of a nerd i am while writing this)

I never felt like I was in a real war more than first hour to this day and it had the most missions, along with loading screen of personally who u played as. Most realistic first person experience ever is finest hour by far
