I knew a lot of people didn't know what to call each and every one of them so I took the liberty to put this video showing people what they were called I enjoyed it and playing the Extinction Game Mode.

@@redzombiethe50th60 Yes they are. The ones already here just came here long before we evolved. I mean, why the hell else can they be brought by meteors. Kind of like the Ceph from Crysis. They were here long before us. So who doesn't truly belong.

I think extinction mode is underrated. It might not be Treyarch Zombies, but at least we got something different from Infinity Ward.

Scout The basic backbone of the Cryptids, coming in large numbers and are weak alone. Hunter Pretty much an evolved Scout, they can charge and are much stronger than their weaker counterparts. Leper Special Cryptids that are only found on events where players must chase and kill them. Ancestor Powerful psionic beings that are contained within a field only able to be broken by a Disruptor. They use energy and psychic attacks. Phantom A variant of the Hunter, they have a blue color scheme and tend to warp in and out to different positions. Scorpion The ranged assault, they shoot a vessel that bursts into a lingering pool of corrosive acids. Seeder Similar to the Scorpion, they fire a seed that births a plant-like turret at the impact position, which fires at nearby players. Rhino Strong and heavy brutes, they charge at fast speeds and are usually accompanied by Hunters and Scouts. Mammoth Much tougher than the Rhino, they posses a blue color scheme like a Phantom, but are able to summon several Hunters/Scouts to their aid. Breeder The first boss encountered, they fire pods that incubate into Cryptids and are able to use appendages as a dangerous machine gun. Seeker Like a Hunter but deadlier. They come from lightning strikes and in small mobs. Upon reaching a target, they rupture violently and dealing damage within the radius. Kraken The second boss encountered, they resemble a squid and use massive tentacles to smash down targets. Can only be killed by being shot in the lights resting on its forehead. Gargoyle The main aerial assault, they fire large crystal shards and are able to swoop down at enemies below, coming in for a deadly attack. Bomber A smaller and weaker version of the Gargoyle, they act the same as a Seeker, finding and bombing their targets but have the ability to fly. BONUS - Cricket A cut Cryptid that was about the size of a Hunter, they scuttled around and dropped hundreds of eggs where they go, quickly hatching into larvae and growing into more Cryptids. Personally, I would have loved to see the Cricket in game. It would really up the challenge having that it birthed more Cryptid waves as you left it unchecked
