Also, why bother using tanks when we see the A10's and Apache's flying like 1km away from the anti-air cannons. Apparently cannons can shoot down ballistic missile but cant hit a heli 1000 yards away. Also, helis and A10's carry so much ordnance they could level that base on their own. Also, tank driving off a ramp of a plane going 400kmph when he hits the ground is still goint pretty much 400 kmph. Also the tanks are preparing to be dropped but crew is not strapped in any way to anything when they hit the ground at 400 km/h, they just drive along. Wonder what the running gear is made off? Steel Beasts is probably your best bet. Haven't engaged in that game in a while but it's a game that was originally intended as a training simulator for tank crews so you can bet your sweet ass it's realistic as hell. Just watch gameplay and see for yourself. Bad thing is it's expensive. EXPENSIVE

You can do stuff immediately but to get the best from it you really need to learn to use the games systems as well as the vehicles. There are options for "rental" type purchases though so you can try it out to see if it suits.

to be fair, American apfsds ammunition is a Depleted Uranium dart. DU is extremely flammable. once the penetrates it burns the insides of an enemy target, generally liquefying organic matter. it would appear explosive. a real world visual is watching Danger close air strikes from A-10 warthogs. the rounds are also DU, but each impact is an explosion due to DU material properties.

I don't complain that tanks in World Of Tanks have health bar but I would if enemies in CoD had hp bars. It's just all about context. Also, in previous iterations they were able to write great epic stories that were realistic and fun at the same time. And here it looks like the mission was designed by 7 year old.

Those are either really huge C-17s or really tiny M1s. Looking at pictures of two M1A2s in a C-17 there is barely space to walk around them and they have their turrets facing backwards because of the space constraint. There is no room for troops or cargo with them at all.

Personally the only thing i really wish they could have gotten it realistic is that of the environment, I did my military service in the north of Chile and the Atacama desert is just a big flat piece of very dry land occasionally interrupted by a squad of leopards 2a4, but it is a very beautiful place. When I played the mission and saw that it takes place just in that region I was exited... but the environment was meh.

I'm pretty sure the C-5 can only carry one Abrams at a time too. Plus dropping one out the back would probably cause it to crash due to the weight shift (~60 tons moving around in your plane is usually a bad time). That and bringing a fully loaded C-5 that close to uneven terrain in the first place is pretty fucking ballsy of the pilots considering they are essentially flying a very large building around.

Droping M1 from air, with NOTHING on it...no rails, no sleigh, no parachute... nothing. From C5 flying like a fighter... just nope. This is no light Striker droping from slowly C130. This M1 should crush into the sand, dive under it, loosing all outer parts on the way. And killing the crew inside. Btw, C5 can carry 2 M1 (it is only US plane that can do it) but only if they are empty. No crew, no fuel, no amo, even no armor plating. Carryng 2 full equipped M1, plus dosen of mans plus crates of cargo? Nope. 50mph? Mayby on road, but in terrain? Nope. Max speed of M1 in terrain is 48... kmph Later... first, they said that this AA guns will shot down everything that fly... than they send A10 to strike on target half a mile from guns, and later cover ground attack with cobras. Back when I was like 8 or 9 years old I forgot but I honestly loved this mission even though it isn't realistic at all my child mind just thought how cool it was to roll out of a plane to destroying everything being thrown at you. Honestly when I clicked this video nastolgia hit me and I'm not mad you said bad things about this mission but happy that this brought back memories:)

at 11:22 the Abrams actually can engage helicopters with its newer MPAT heat round, there is a special switch on the round the turns it in to a proximity detecting flak round for this exact purpose for engaging helicopters out of the 50s range, or even backing up the 50.
