I mean they put alot of money into the game, just not that much time... The original MW2 was made on a 2 yearly scale. With less than 18 months, they have done an okay job I guess. The decision to recycle the entire MW2 catalogue of maps was purely a time saving decision, the sparse campaign missing the cinematic flair of previous COD Campaigns is glaring.

Looks like a 2018 game and has the content of a DLC for 70 bucks. Yet despite the vastly negative reviews and backlash online, this was the top seller on Steam for 2 weeks now on my end, and I know dudes that even if it got a 1/10, they would buy it day 1 and trash it in 3 months after of how bad it is. Truly, Activision created a cult here.

The multiplayer is the best in ~5 years though, the campaign might be awful but with good MP gameplay it’s still worth it for many of us. It’s just an easy trend to say it’s the entire game is awful because “DLC” and the valid campaign complaints, but that just isn’t the case for MP.

Without SBMM this game or any game would be incredibly terrible I'm not tryna play against the average cod player n just fry everyone every game, that is 0 fun might aswell play against bots in a private match. We do still get easy games once in a while shich is good. I like close n competitive games, the real issue is EOMM engagement optimized matchmaking, what it does is it puts a full team of pros against u n gives u terrible teammates to force a loss and then then it does the opposite sometimes to force a win, based on what there data says about player retention to keep u playing for as long as possible, but it doesnt happen every game n u get decent matches most of the time. Also they already said there going to be testing getting rid of disbanding lobbies, so that will fix this issue because they cant force anything anymore also it means u can now create rivalries and friendships like the old cods. This is literally the dream cod, every single thing about it is perfection, the time to kill u dont get melted by someone in a corner it actually requires gunskill n they turned down aim assist, they brought back red dots on the minimap, they got rid of the garbage sqaud spawns the game flow is much better and faster, ninja perk, people dont here u stomping from halfway across the map n wait around a corner to melt u anymore, much faster movement, plus the most legendary maps and guns of all time, the most maps and guns in a cod ever by far, they brought back the war gamemode which is epic fun. It literally has the most content of any cod ever but somehow this year its claimed to be a dlc but every other year with half the content people were happy. The sheeps masters dont approve of liking this game so they arent allowed, the sheeps masters know negativity brings views so they spread negativity, n the sheep follow. It’s a shame they haven’t seemed to bring the Spec-ops mission and survivor modes from the original MW3. Playing those couch co-op with a friend is what still keeps me going back to the old gen CODs. There was just so much content for the money, also at a time where on PS3 they didn’t charge you for online multiplayer.

They probably should have aimed for 1080p for the final rendering resolution. 1440p is simply too taxing. I have no doubt there would still be drops, but it would be a fair improvement in smoothness. I’m impressed it retained 90% of the other machines effects. As mighty and impressive as the Series S is/was, it’s hitting its limit. Cross gen is over, without memory parody developers need to use SS as a base for their engine/game development and scale from there. Developing for SX/PS5 first and scaling down won’t work as this generation goes on.

The candy-colored saturation can be remedied on PC with ReShade. Would be nice if basic sliders for stuff like hue and saturation were included by default. Bluepoint's remake of Demon's Souls let you bring tweaks made in the photo mode into regular play, IIRC, which was a boss move.

Should've been a 10-20 dollar expansion to MW2 considering it's all just maps brought forward to the new engine. When you see the quality of DLC released for games like Resident Evil 4's "Separate Ways" (excellent btw) at 10 dollars it really puts this nonsense into perspective. I mean the maps are great, but this is DLC not a new game. I feel like they kind of half assed a campaign in there just so they could claim that's why it's 60. Random but when you guys look at ark survival ascended on series x. You can limit the frame rate to 30 via ini console commands by typing T.maxfps 30 and you can enable v sync by typing R.vsync 1 I’m playing on series x no screen tearing a pretty locked 30 fps without having to disable volumetric clouds or fog. I only disabled motion blur for a small boost to performance when around a lot of effects

When I started playing the campaign on Series S, the frame rate was so bad. So I restarted the console and It was much better, started tô feel like 60 fps again. On other video (Fuzion Xbox Testing channel) Series S was fine at 60. Maybe it's a bug?

Cosmetics aside, I didn't look though settings and I will enable 120hz mode. I picked it up on release day. Installed (Series X) and it looked like a DLC more than a new game. The classic remake maps are nice but, I got a new COD game for a NEW maps. I still want a Shipment or (and really want) a Nuke Town type map. Most maps are medium to large, I have a lot of fun with the smaller maps. Know what made it feel like a DLC? I picked up a few guns though the store in MW2, when I started 3, all my purchased guns where there, I started at level 3(I did play some of the preview) with a maxed-out weapon I had in the last game. It made it fun but, it was not like a NEW game... $70 for a DLC, huh ?

It's a side effect of the IW9 engine's TAA implementation, and is present on every platform. The only way to remedy it is to play the PC version with either TAA disabled or with DLSS turned on.

-Cyberpunk 2077 Question Would it have been possible to fuse Phantom Liberty onto the Data Disc (Disc 1) that way just like the digital DLC, you cant play it unless you have the game and maybe avoid the new sku requirement if that was the reason? Since Cyberpunk 2077 was never technically released for (now) current gen, it would need new sku anyways with it coming to disc right?

I have 4K LG OLED 120hz and PS5. since COLD WAR through MW3 when switching 120 FPS mode off to see better resolution I am not seeing 60 FPS, more like 40-50. it's jaggy, inconsistent and anywhere near fluent. and if I turn motion blur off it's like 30 FPS... so what the heck?

Sold my Series S I got around launch for a Series X and the graphical upgrade is immense. Series S definitely feels like a next gen machine but that GPU is just too underpowered compared to the 10.3 and 12 TFLOPS of the PS% and XSX.

Not everyone does care though about _"top-notch gaming performance"_ and that is where the consoles fit the niche. I have racked up more hours in COD MW3 multiplayer than I care to admit, and on the Series S to boot, I haven't once had an issue as bad as indicated in this video, at least to my knowledge. SO, I'm a great example of most gamers just wanting to game and won't notice large performance issues unless brought to my attention.

Are you guys covering the physical Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition issue where the Phantom Liberty DLC is just a piece of digital code while the XboxOne version is getting everything on disc?

The Series S is just a great example of what Sony did better. Xbox should have never done this. They should have just made the Series X with a cheaper digital model. In the short run, yes, people got a cheaper console that at the time would suffice for the games that were available. But moving forward into the future, it’s clear the S isn’t holding up too well. I personally have one and honestly only use it for old games and use my PS5 for everything else. If the S was my only console I’d be very sad.

Besides the low price the biggest selling point was playing with game pass, mostly older or less demanding games pretty alright. It honestly feels more like an in-between of an Nvidia Shield and an actual console.

With Xbox Game Pass and the price of the Series S and Activision being from Xbox, the Series S could be a better option for those looking for value for money, in addition to having the over 60 mode that can reach more than 100 fps in multiplayer for Call of Duty. The analysis didn't cover much either, but others talk about the Series X having more advantages in 120 fps mode for COD MW3.

@@troydavidson4631 yeah I guess multiplayer running well isn’t too surprising, I’m basing my judgements off of playing the MW reboot in 2019 on one s at like 41 frames a second at best lol. However ps4 is stronger so that also makes sense for mw3. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad everyone can play it for sure. I just hate when they shit out awful unplayable ports of new games for xbo ps4, not fair to them ya know

Because they want better visibility in mp, cleaner surfaces is faster target acquisition and less issues with people blending. They're going for good gameplay over "nice" visuals.

People complained about the brown-out of games during that era of gaming, not just for COD but a lot of games went to more muted colors. People got sick of it, and rightly so developers actually made more colorful games. The downside is that for games that are remakes/remasters from this era, just make everything look wrong.

It’s soooo easy to make this into a more slow paced, tactical game. It’s just a bunch of sliders. I know they don’t want to divide up the base, but HC is already doing that to some extent. Just actual arcady tactical shooting, rather then the TikTok superheroes using Apex legends style movement tech. Also, you can make the main mode even more movement skill based, and have the more tactical mode be about positioning and planning.

I get the feeling a lot of consensus of the visuals looking worse than MW19 is the fact that this iteration of the engine was rewritten with Treyarch and SHG because of the difficulty of using the past one since only IW Poland worked on it. The texture assets are simplified and generic so they can make maps faster. The lighting engine is also kind of outdated, the MW19 has visibility issues because of it's "realistic" bloom and dark shadows, and they just compromise by using less strong light sources and toning down ambient occlusion. But since all three studios codeveloped the engine, I hope they can improve upon it and be comfortable with it more easily in the future.

For me Pros: -PS3 MW2 was the best CoD. -Haven’t bought a CoD game in years so don’t feel scammed. -The nostalgia is excellent. -Me and my son love the split screen online. Cons: - Had to buy my first M2 due to size. -as usual heavily use of micro transactions. Overall worth the pre order 👍

I want to know - if anyone can explain, I have 4K monitor plus 120hz, I run this game and it just looks bad. Lots of grainy effects on guns, surfaces, shadows, everything. Is it my monitor? Or is it just bad? FYI, no other game looks like this or has the same artefacting.
