He’s memorable, sure, but he’s pretty much a bunch of stereotypes usually made by people who have never served (i.e. he’s a general who served in special warfare so is therefore intimately aware of all special operations commands, even those that don’t fall under his nations command). He’s far more memorable because of the people he killed than his own characteristics and motivations.

It's a really short campaign especially since majority of it is open missions where you can just rush the objectives and ignore the open aspect of the mission because there is literally no incentive to the mission being open since the objectives have a lot of loot around everywhere, so you don't run out of ammo, have all the gear, and the whole shabbang simply by walking towards the objective in like a couple meters it's like they forgot to sprinkle it all around the map making them harder to find so they just put it in one bunched up cookie crumb you can follow all the way to the objective while fattening yourself up on the excess gear and refills, it's really absurd, in all honesty the entire campaign just feels like DMZ missions with a story attached to it. It fcking sucks as a campaign and the story is equally as bad that it made me appreciate the original mw3.

While i appreciate the "realism take" i thought they would go harder than this. I mean mw2 set up valeria and alejandro still at it, they wasted graves comeback, and makarov didnt feel like the old makarov did. I still remembered what i felt looking at the eiffel tower getting destroyed when ww3 was in full effect. Makarov felt like a true danger to the world. I watched all cutscenes videos and im glad i saved $70.

Honestly as bad as the game is and as deviated as the campaign is, I liked the campaign. The story and character design was impeccable even if the gameplay was meh. Could of been longer but still a great campaign

The game was good. All the incels jumping on the trend train hating the campaign are absolute Muppets
