It is a soft reboot. So they mightve retconned Ghost, Roach, Pvt. Allen, and Soaps death. Plus i feel Yuri should stay dead because it’ll make Makarovs death more impactful

It's a complete reboot they said themselves that the original Modern Warfare time line got a bit out of hand near the end and this will be for realistic and grounded and if the old characters like Soap and Ghost are in this they will be completely different characters they have just pretty much retconed the original series with this.

This looks to be the best actual innovation since MW1. Crossplay, free maps, and no season pass sounds amazing. I'm sure there will be a shitload of microtransactions but as long as I get a lot of classic MW1/MW2 weapons in the base game, especially the G36C and Intervention, I'll be happy as a lark anyways. I could care less about cheesy camos and calling cards.

@@Matts3dbuilds that would be pretty awesome. I never bought into the idea that scorestreaks actually encouraged anyone to play objective more than killstreaks. On paper it sounds like a good idea, but in reality, the people capping B are going to die regardless, even on the winning team, and aren't the same people trying to hit their streak. And the campers with lmgs just earned theirs faster because they got to count assists towards them too.

As you suggested, Gaz could be in this game and remember, the first mission of this game is set 20th October 2019, which is a couple years after Gaz's death.

There’s no better proof than that poll that you did. That’s pretty insane that a mostly zombies centred fan base says they don’t want zombies. I’m all on board, I think infinity ward should really go take a look at what they did back in the day and why that was so special. Spec ops has almost the same amount of nostalgia as zombies does for me and that’s saying something coz I’ve played 1000s more hours of OG zombies.

Man, hearing about how graphic and real the campaign is makes me question if it's going to be rated A. (Adult Only) Honestly This game is probably going to get SERIOUS backlash.
