Call of Duty Modern Warfare - U.S. Embassy Attack - Brutal Fight For Survival - Realism Gameplay PC

Welcome back to more Call of Duty Modern Warfare. In this video, I'll be playing through one of the later missions in the game called "The Embassy". I really enjoyed how this mission played out, the beginning starts as the usually CoD mission with a high action set piece, then taking the fight inside for some CQC. Finally, we get outside for some long-range action. This mission has a little bit of everything and I found it very enjoyable.

I really think the rooftop part is based on the movie 13 hours, because of the mortars being thrown at them, and the bad guys being in the fields, even the rooftops are similar

This CoD Campaign is an extremely "Ripped from the Headlines" story, (not that there is anything wrong with that, CoD 4's campaign practically did the same thing for 2007 conflicts) in which case The Embassy may definitely be referencing the 13 Hours, 2012 Embassy Attack.

Just like how Call of Duty 2 was very much like the Band of Brothers and Enemy at the Gates. Even some of the maps (Carentan, Brecourt Manor, Stalingrad) were exactly like the Films.

This was probably my favorite mission. The embassy layout was intense and had lots of CQC, the final defense based of 13 Hours was challenging and memorable... just a great level

As from a Development Interview, the Campaign was meant to be a "Ripped from the Headlines" story, CoD 4 did the same thing for conflicts during 2007 and the last few years before that, the 2012 Embassy Attack you are referring to was probably an inspiration.
