oh wait a minute, in altenative ending mission where Shepherd knife fight with Soap, they use Overlord's voice as place holder for Lance Henriksen's Shepherd , and OG MW2 Overlord's voice actor Glenn Morshower 13 years later become Reboot MW II's Shepherd. A foreshadowing lmao Also, fun fact, entire map of last mission (Rust) existed few hunder meters below Museum. You can noclip and fly to it.

Sounds nothing like Glenn Morshower in my ears, Morshower has a distinctive voice that just doesn't match up with the lines in the video. the lines are most likely placeholders recorded by one of the devs before they got Lance Henriksen on board to record the lines.

Just a few addons: The Submarine sequence was recycled and completed on MW3 Mission Hunter Killer. And the lines from Shepard are even more freightening: The guy goes full accelerationist, even admitting they put Zakhaev in power for weak Russia. This was being open critical with the exterior politics of the USA that the DOD knock their doors and requested change that. And you know the fact, in the betas they nuked DC

also ghost may have still died in that alt ending, that is assuming if he still assumed the previous role of archer as a sniper providing support from a hill. in the end whole 141 team in Russia dies by shadow company and by inner circle (the ghillie snipers Archer and Toad got killed by SC snipers with thermal scopes, ozone and scarecrow will die either during the DSM download sequence or after everyone leaves the cabin)

Obviously you died if you followed Price into the sub but you could see the control room was rendered. The interior was reused for MW3, but not the submarine itself - it changed to an 'Oscar' class which would probably make more sense as the Oscar goes after Carrier groups (in port, in this case). Crucially, it carries conventional warheads, allowing you to turn it against its own fleet without the fallout associated with tactical nuclear warheads (The Typhoon?? class in MW2 is a ballistic missile submarine for strategic use.)

If I were to guess, the planes supposed to destroy DC were just about to bomb the building but stopped short because they saw green flares. The devs cut this to a simple fly-by in retail. This is my guess. I could be wrong

You have to start the game up using the development boot file. connect any usb keyboard to the Xbox 360 then press the ~ key on the keyboard while on a level to get level script select.
