Call Of Duty - MW3 - Scuf Envision - Dive + Slide (NO DELAY) On independent Binds!!

In this video we cover the Scuf Envision, and how to map an independent Dive and Slide bind (a feature available only on M&K), using the Corsair ICue software. We're covering how to both map this in game and then in the Corsair ICue software, and most importantly, this is a feature exclusive to only a couple competitive gamepads (the Elite V2 {*not tested} and the Scuf Envision). As we head into the next iteration of warzone, I'm certain this provides a competitive advantage for controller players.
NOTE - Thanks to ShadaoShai (in the comments), we've determined that this DOES NOT work in the firing range. Make sure you're testing in actual game after you bind in Icue!

First change to hybrid. Go to advanced keybinds and make one for slide (Leftalt + / ) also make another one for dive (RightAlt + -) works great but always a catch…….you loose your crouch, i never crouch walk anyway)

Just got one & was having issues.. I tried mapping a dive button on the side as well but for whatever reason it wouldn’t register when I would go into game the button was just unmapped. Curious also is there a way to just purely slide w/o the crouch animation attached? Just like a completely independent slide only button? I know this is possible in relation to the dive mechanic but what about crouch?

Can slide cancel be set by pressing a single button on the rear paddle?

You notice a stutter when you bind a key as slide in WZ? When I bind slide to a paddle there’s like a stutter when executing the slide as if the controller is competing with the keyboard macro input.

I haven't noticed a stutter while sliding, but that's more than likely because I'm setting R3 (I play tactical) to a paddle. That wouldn't be a keyboard macro, that's essentially just a remap of a controller function. Now, with that being said, I'm ALSO not feeling a stutter when diving, which IS a keyboard bind. Is your slide not a remap of one of the buttons on your controller (R3 if tactical, O/B if default)?

Guys have they updated this? Mine will only let me use the dive if I have hybrid settings on but it’s abso shit and has a delay could anyone let me know? Friend was on my account to play ranked while I was on holiday as he is iri and I am not and neither is the rest of our group so I’m not sure if he has changed any settings or not

Hi there. I believe you're correct. You now have to have "hybrid" selected. However, I didnt notice any delay compared to "slide only". There's a COMPLETELY noticeable delay on "tap to slide hold to dive", but "hybrid" felt fine. You check your other settings etc.?

Yep, 💯! My keybind for mute game is F10, and mute game chat is F9. I've bound BOTH of those onto the scuf Envision onto two of those front five buttons. It's honestly awesome! You can bind any key you'd like from your keyboard, within Icue software.

You're right! It does occasionally cause a random dive; however, I think the removal of the delay caused by sharing dive/slide (one tap one hold), is worth the occasional dive. Just my opinion though!

Honestly, I ALSO tried this bind. Relentlessly... I've concluded that since it's hard bound to the options button on controller, for whatever reason, it can't share a macro keybind from the keyboard. I wasn't able to figure out how to do this. I certainly tried as well.

You have to select in the keyboardsettings the scoreboard not the map for the specific paddle or button that you want. It is because on the controller is only one button to open the map an the scoreboard, so you have to keybind the scoreboard in the keyboard settings and you will open the map with your paddle :)

Hey Omar, have you tested this OUTSIDE of the firing range? The binds only work when you're actually in game (multiplayer or warzone).

This would be creating a macro. Thats not covered in this video, but I believe the Scuf Envision would allow you to.

This is a great question, and to be honest I'm actually trying to do the EXACT same thing. Except to one of the front 5 buttons. I have tried everything, I dont think MAP can be rebound because it lives on that button that isn't customizable... bummer.

Ya mine does not work, but If you watch icemanisaacs video today his is still working so I'm super confused. (Mine works as a seperate button with 'tap to slide', but with 'slide only' it doesn't register.)

@@tylerwestman5668 I just seen his video it seems he still has the dive function enabled because of hybrid Nd he mapped each command to Two different buttons. He still is also able to dive from holding the LS and hitting the slide command. I just personally think this is dumb cuz I still randomly dive. I grew up holding LS to sprint so I randomly hold my LS button running from time to time so now when I'm tryna slide there goes that unwanted dive shit. They need to switch it back to how it was before. IMO atleast for the envision users

Hi Miguel, you could likely bind this using Icue, but macros that involve two keystrokes or a series of button presses aren't something I'd recommend. Those wouldn't be done naturally with one bind.

You can put the new “hybrid” for the slide/dive behavior and it’ll work but it’ll still dive when pressing run button

Hi, thanks for the comment! Can you elaborate please? I was using the Scuf Envision just last evening and this certainly works (I was diving). They would have had to remove the dive bind out of the game or remove the "shared input" functionality to eliminate this. Let me know what's not working, and maybe I can help clarify!

I’m in the same boat. I can bind any key to any button on my controller except for when I try to bind it to anything in the kb&m movement tab. Example I have slide set to my keyboard slide prone key and then controller dive only. When I bind just straight “slide” or “dive” on keyboard to any of my back buttons it won’t work and can’t seem to figure it out

@Itz_ReallyDee you need to make sure you're assigning these into the advanced movement menu, not the main menu. The combo keys like "prone/dive" and "crouch/slide" aren't what we're looking for. If you watch back in the video, I show how to access the "Movement Advanced Keybinds", that's where you're assigning dive. And then in the game you want "slide only".

This is the Envision Pro. The assignability is the same on the base model, the pro just offers wireless connection and the mouse click triggers. BOTH applicable for what we covered in this video. 👍

Hi there, I just responded to the other comment as well. I was just successfuly diving last evening in MW3 (independent from slide). Can you expand upon what you're saying? They would have had to remove the dive function from advanced movement, or eliminated the shared input functionality to remove this... both of which are still in tact. This is a workaround since the scuf Envision allows you to map keybinds.

FYI it doesn't work in the shooting range, but it does work in game. I was pulling my hair out thinking it wasn't working until I got into a real game.
