Thabks for the videos , i really want to buy this i was looking at steam deck and this , but i got a feeling this is way better is that right ? And what kind of thumb sticks are this? If there is one thong that scare me is thumbsticks on a handheld that get bad and its hard to fix it .

I think both options are great but you’re just able to run more programs on the ally. The thumb sticks aren’t Hall effect but they’re very module and if for some reason they go bad, it’s fairly easy to DIY replace them

yeah game chat can be annoying for others if using the built in mic and the speakers cranked up as it causes interference. The AI noise canceling features seem to work decently good at filtering audio from gameplay but not so much the voices of others in the game chat, though this may improve over time as the AI gets more familiar with your voice. Better to use a headset for voice chat if possible.

That’s a good point. It would probably be a good amount smoother with 900p. Yeah I played the multiplayer as well. I have a video of it up on the channel. It ran great

Mine always lags. But maybe I need to adjust the settings. I play plugged in too. The controller does not feel very snappy like a console.

yeah I also wish thumbsticks were tighter as it the most noticeable difference I notice going back and forth between Xbox Series controller and the Ally built-in controller. I do believe the Ally X has tighter sticks but the price difference won't be worth the difference for everyone based on that alone.

They made the Asus rog ally so that is verry easy to open it up and change sticks incleds then 5 minutes u can the stick and replace it with much better ones .​@@GreenLeefMusic

I would recommend waiting for a nice discount and/or going for Best Buy Used-Like New / Used-Good/ Used - Fair. Those often go for a lot less. Got mine for ~450 & I've seen them for less than that sometimes (for Z1 Extreme variant). There are also used ones on other online marketplaces sold for $300 or less. I also would get the Z1 Extreme (not the Z1 listing) if you plan on playing big AAA games like COD games and others as it is a big difference in performance between the two. I hope you can get one someday too ✌ also may get cheaper when Ally 2 is launched.

It might be throttling. Check your power settings. You could always lock it at 25 watts and just unplug it from time to time
