Everything was 20x scarier. I remember the main screen theme song alone scared the hell out of me. At the time, I was thinking I was about to play the most violent and gruesome game of all time because of that. 🤣

This particular mission is excellent, and it's definitely fun to revisit. However, the British were not involved in the relief of Bastogne in real life. Despite the historical inaccuracy, this is one of the best missions in the entire game.

I wouldn't say it's much of an historical inaccuracy, the british got involved at some extent to the relief of bastogne, the british RAF regiment had to rescue american forces during the relief of bastogne, their objective was travelling to Brussels as part of a secret british operation, they arrived at the 15th of december 1944 and got sidetracked when they spotted some of the american forces having trouble with the germans, so they rescued them and managed to wear the germans off, so they continued their route and arrived on Brussels on the 19th of December 1944. I think if they changed the dates a bit then it could have fitted perfectly

There were plans of including a British campaign in the Xbox 360,PS3,and PC versions, as multiplayer icons for the Lee-Enfield, Bren, and Sten were found in the game files. It was cut from the final game in mid development due to time constraints.
