Yessss someone gets it! I only play the Cod campaigns for those "wow" moments like when you leave the shelter in Of Their Own Accord and that soundtrack kicks in looking at D.C. in ruins. Totally agree with you.

Honestly the whole level is fantastic start to finish, how you’re going from desperate measure to desperate measure culminating in what’s basically a suicide attack on AA guns in the helicopter. And all to defend your nations capital. And this level feels the same except you’re the one doing the attacking lol. Also the level Vorkuta in Black Ops might be up there as well.

This mission is something special. You could feel the fear of the German soldiers being pushed deeper into the city they called home. They had no choice but to fight until death, they knew the horrific things the soviets would do to them if they got their hands on them.

I cannot agree my friends if they try To remaster it many things would be taken out the originality would be lost and i and many others would lose more faith in cod (not that I have much left after the spiral. I honestly think the next best CoD would be playing their initial triumph against the Soviets in 1941, and then have players experience the desperate, inevitable loss in 1945. Sure, the player wouldn't automatically win, but it would take them on a journey they never experienced before, which is playing on the losing side.

(I know I’m 2 months late but) try backtracking and see if you can find Resnov, maybe he got stuck on something. If he did get stuck then throw grenades at him, he’ll try to run away and probably get himself unstuck, and if that doesn’t work then you’ll unfortunately have to restart the mission

@@uncreative4497 I retried the mission several times, and it turned out it was a glitch. I l ow it must have some bugs being an older game. Also, I’m playing through all the Call of Duties currently, and that’s why I was playing this. I had played it before, but if I wanted to play the black ops series, I knew this was the prequel to this first game with Reznov and everything. Thanks for helping, though!

There should be a German campaign that mission by mission, first takes you through the invasion of Poland, and then invasion of the USSR in 1941, Stalingrad in 1942, then the Warsaw Uprising, and finally the battle of Berlin.

not at all, their fate was sealed after they messed up case blue and didn't capture leningrad. The USSR was close to economic collapse in 1942, and as Mason-MacFarlane reported to the British, the Germans only failed in 1941 by a small margin
