I love how channels are popping up dedicated to preserving and documenting and talking about old online gaming communities. A lot of last gen (360 and PS3) games too have notable communities, and are very interesting to hear about. I can’t wait for this documentary you mentioned as well

Hey Conboy, this is Nintendman. Not sure if you will see this or remember me, but I felt a little nostalgic for the Wii CoDs and ended up here. I think it's really fucking awesome that you are doing a documentary on the Wii CoDs, and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. It was truly a one of a kind experience where everything felt so tight knit, like everyone had each other's backs, and everyone felt like somebody. I hope everything turns out well, the world needs to hear about our weird little unknown community.

Nice video buddy. I've been streaming myself and I really enjoy it! For you, I would stick to the KZbin streaming for a start then maybe transition to mixer or twitch. WII DOC?! This would be so amazing, the wii COD's were such a huge role in my life as a child. Making friends, surviving zombies gettin all sweaty, and taking shit from IRL friends for playing the wii versions. To this day I still say fuck them, wii version (blops) is better for having free wi-fi multiplayer. PERIOD. MW3 was super solid too, as was WaW and COD 3.

I think you should also talk about the controller differences between the consoles. Eventually we got a pro controller but for a while people used the wiimote. I came to prefer the feeling over a "normal" controller.

Stream using Restream.io it allows you to stream on multiple platforms at once. chats merge into one stream chat and makes it easy. IMO go with youtube. you have more audience here. I have my Wii U hooked up, let me know when your on via Twitter or here and i'll try to jump on some BO2 or whatever i need to
