One thing I haven't seen anyone else point out: Segments that don't take place in one of Silas's stories have a stark lack of color, being mostly dark with at most 3 colors visible. I like to imagine this is because Silas is just getting old, but also it could be how Silas enjoys these stories of the past a LOT more than the present he's living.

Call of Juarez would have been just a decent arcade shooter, but the narration and interjection from Silas and the peanut gallery make the game incredible. "Is that what that penny dreadful said?", Silas choosing not to go in the mine, Silas going to the bathroom, "O Death". They're all fantastic scenes Also, the Frank James boss fight is the best. Not because of gameplay, but because the resolution is Frank saying "Fuck it, I quit!", and Silas going "Hey, I'm just looking for your brother". Frank doesn't die. He just tells you where Reed is, and you go on your way

Fun tid bit. I like to see those bullet holes when you're hit as "Holes being punched" in the story. Like every time you get hit it's less believable until you just lose the story.

It even looks like the bullets are tearing holes in a canvas movie screen, with the light from a projector beaming through or the like. Nice detail I never noticed before, because I was too busy trying to not die and combo it up.

I appreciate the fact that I have never seen you do an ad for something big and easy. It’s always indie games and stuff like that. You seem like the kind of person that would stare the developers of raid shadow legends directly in the face and tell them that you like video games that you actually play.

Might be because I'm from Chile, and this country *loves* Westerns and old Mexican movies, but holy shit I agree with your sentiment. Nothing beats popping the Magnificent Seven to watch with Grandpa on September 18 at the countryside. Ah, irreplaceable memories. But this game that "allegedly" includes all the big Western names forgot Bass Reeves and that frankly is unforgivable, that man is an absolute legend.

The funnest of fun facts about _The Cartel_ is that it actively and willfully misrepresents the sex trafficking crisis at the border by pretending that it's about Mexican cartels kidnapping American women and not about Americans buying Mexican women _from_ the cartels. It's a level of America-centric madness that just boggles my mind. Good thing Gunslinger went back to the series' roots.

Still remember getting it for the 360 back in the day. I was honestly surprised by how good it felt to play, and how it added little tidbits about the real life people that the game showed. Reading the extra info about the people that you encounter was a really neat touch, and I wish more games did that. The fact that it also changed levels as you played thanks to story being changed on the spot was also incredibly endearing. Thanks for shining a spotlight on this incredible game.

Okay that is the correct way to sponsor a video, entice people with what you're going to get, let them know the sponsorship is going to be very brief, don't act like it's the greatest thing in creation, Entice folks to give it a try and boom we're done we can move on to things we're actually here for 🎉. Fantastic job Jack

Speaking of western shooting galleries, the game 'Wild Guns' is one that I recommend. It is an arcade style game, where you pick one of four characters and go to town against hordes of baddies. One of the characters you can use is a Dashund, who comes with an flying drone that lies down serious firepower. A big part of the game is the choice of either dodging attacks or shooting down bullets to fill up a power meter. Very good fun, that is only tarnished by the lack of a save system and tying available stages to difficulty level. If you got friends, spending an afternoon on saving the Old West will be a good time.
