I have watched a lot of videos on the Lofoten Islands recently as planning a road trip next year from the UK. These two episodes were stunning and encapsulate the essence of North Norway in a way which makes me very impatient to start our journey. Many moons away, my wife and I spend 10 days the Loft Island and in particular Vary was amazing. We camped for 3 nights at that airport strip. At that time, the young folks from that island took their girl friend out for a "ride" on the runway. Was hilarious and I remember the thick gras, in which we took a nap after the long hike along the coast and up a mountain where the Pufins were flying around and nesting.
