what's the deal with spitz why is he such a bad dog with anger?

Naruto: He reminds me of a dog I once knew. He had been used in pit-fighting but had been rescued. However, it took a while to get the aggression out of him. I suspect Spitz may have had a similar origin. Dogs have long memories. Sometimes they can't ever get over something like that.

I suspect it’s because Spitz a fictional character thats written to be a nemesis to the main character Buck.

Because Spitz is the Alpha of the group and a bad muthafucka. But Buck is just more badass and got tired of being tested by Spitz. Don't feel bad for Spitz, he died honorably.
