We have seen orbs and flickers in videos of your other guests. I wonder if we are now hearing entities in this video at 18:54 and 19:11. I can relate to feelings of having experienced something special. Jo I agree that having a loving connection to something we long for deeply opens us up to such experiences. For your guest it was of course her connection with nature and her calling out to it through the beautiful sound of the kulning. Thank you for providing the link Jo. The kulning call sounds beautiful. I felt the same as your guest when I encountered a ghostlike figure in March 2001 which was also experienced by other people one night. My experience confirmed to me that we survive beyond the material world. It was life changing. This was unlike my other experiences of having seen scary looking entities that frightened me immensely.

I loved this and it hit a special chord with me, regarding the tiger lilies. I didn't know they grow wild. One of my fondest memories as a small child is my father tending tiger lilies in our back garden. He was never really a gardener but I do remember he liked tiger lilies and hydrangea. Oh, and as an aside, he was born in Alberta ("Wegrewille" to be precise❤)

wow what a beautiful and inspiring experience. If I understand correctly, the feeling of not belonging became stronger as you got closer to the Horsetail? That may be true because Horse tail has the magical property that it strengthens boundaries and protects the home against intruders. So the plant was clearly doing its job for something or someone 😁 I would LOVE that way of singing ❤

Love your show, thank you. And thank you ma'am for sharing. Around 11 min in she says she doesn't remember everything about getting back to the car. I think that is particularly instructive, given supernatural phenomena often feature the observer forgetting or getting confused, as if they left a different kind of space. Sounds like a wonderful, rare experience. 🔥🌘🌑🌒🔥

Thank you she was a really lovely guest. She had a much ‘pokier’ experience when she was younger. I released it as a bonus on Patreon www.patreon.com/themodernfairysightingspodcast

@@themodernfairysightingspod8421 You are welcome, and thank you for the heads up for the "Pokier" episode. I love that. It must have a meaning in British English that we don't share. I looked it up. "Unsettling" or "uncomfortable." No doubt, it fits.

What a lovely and amazing story. I can relate particularly to the singing, as I was in a forest recently in the Pacific Northwest of the US, and began to sing (with no words). I felt such a connection to the land and the trees, and everything, actually -- rocks, ferns, water, animals, etc. It was such a joyful and emotional experience that I had to stop singing. I had never experienced this before. Thank you for this podcast, Modern Fairy Sightings.

Nature sings to us all the time, and when we sing in return (all be it unknowingly), it often joins in (to our harmony) even though we cant hear it on an audible level, the frequencies stil reverbrate.

Though you should be carefull what you harmonize with, but if you dont know then you cant call foul or blame. (though if its from the heart you cant really go wrong, though discernemt is handy)

There is a curious ability for want of a better word of going unnoticed, invisibilty in plain sight. I get the impression that Yeti type creatures use it a lot. (only from references Ive heard in the past). There are many frequencies (realities) that border/overlap ours where awaerness/focus can reveal something that is/isnt there so to speak. I'm very dull in wakefull state, but in dreams!

This is a story told to me by my Afghani fiancé at the time. It happened to his father so this would have been in the 50s. It could have possibly been his grandfather so that would have been 30s-40s. He was traveling in Afghanistan in the country driving a little donkey wagon. He sees a cute little baby lamb all alone on the road. The dad picks him up and puts him in his open carriage/wagon in the back, behind him as he drove. Then after a while he hears a demonic scary animal snarling! He turns around and sees a scary troll like creature! We’ll quickly he groans that thing by the neck and says something like I’m from the so so family! Don’t you ever bother my family again or I will kill you! Then he throws the thing off his wagon and leaves.

Did this thing target his family before or something? Sounds like he recognised it & it tricked him into getting into the wagon by posing as a lamb. Because of this was a first one off encounter then wouldn't reacting like that make it more likely to come after his family? Especially telling it what family he was from.
