Turns out what happens in life is not what affects our happiness, rather how we react to what happens to us is much more important. How we react is what we are able to control. I think the healthy, fresh, food is so important, and rare these days. Also air and water. Notice how healthy they look? No bad arthritis, so healthy immune systems. I bet they all came from loving homes, too. It’s a shame adults in our society do not value elder people and the wisdom they have accrued throughout their lives. Thank you, Seniors, for your participation, and thanks to Life Hunters.

I started a conversation with an older gentleman at the gym the other day. I like talking to people and have been into the gym for 20 years now. I'm 37. I knew this guy was older but when he told me he had just celebrated his 95th birthday I was shocked. That is by far the oldest person I have seen lifting weights and in such shape. So cool. He told me his son died at 52 and he outlived his wife. Then he said what I was seriously hoping for. He asked if I would go for a coffee with him sometime. It was literally the cutest thing in the world. He said the following: "You have no idea how much you made my day by talking to me, thank you." "When you get to my age there aren't many people left you know." "Most people just pass you by." It was heart warming seriously people. I shared that cool story because as younger people we don't feel the way they do. The world still sees us. Heck, sometimes we get so much attention we want people to actually leave us alone!! lol. I know I do sometimes. Most cultures hold their elders in very high regard, we should all hold them there. Try to talk to these lovely people whenever you can. Just say hello if nothing else, you will almost always receive a warm smile. Cheers

Well it's strange, because my friend's daughter told me the other day she's 3 and a half, and we all laughed at how cute it is. And of course, when you have only been alive for 3 years, a half a year is a very long time, and quite a big deal. But it was refreshing to hear a man 99 years older still using the half 🙂

I really felt this. I'm 17 now, making plans for my life, wanting to chase money and success, being great and change the world, becoming important in a wider meaning. But when I see such things, when people who have already lived tell me what living really is like, I think I'm completely missing the point: I just want to be happy, and live a happy and fulfilling life. And when I'll be old I think it won't matter if I had been rich or if my life plans had gone right, I will only care about how I really lived my life. Thank you for sharing your stories, teaching us these life lessons. Should definitely talk more with my grandparents...

I would join him whenever I saw him outside, and he would talk about his experiences in Poland and being a child prisoner, and his experience in the RAF as a radar operator during WW2, also how he came to the USA and started a family. That man really lived a life that I will never come close to experiencing. He passed away about this time last year and I was really glad that I sat and talked with him. We both share the same first name and heritage, I only knew him for about a year and I miss him.

The teenage Casual people always say things like that .. we always think things are speeding up, but are they quite? Maybe not from the 40s but someone from the 60s I think would be actually quite disappointed by the level of dubsequnt development particularly in the transport sector .. an I pad is pretty decent tool but many of those people might have expected flying cars. That's because there was opportunity back then. Actual opportunity. Now, there are so many government regulations, and lies through media (COVID, lockdowns, etc.) that the whole world has gone nutty. People are absolute phonies nowadays, as well. No one wants to get out of their car. I wanted to set up a food truck on the busiest part of the road in the city; not one car stops to pass. I see others trying all of the time - but no one gets out of their car because they're scared that a "virus" is going to get them; meanwhile, they can't name one person who has died from this thing... It is either 5G, or IN the vaccine. THEN, we will possibly see numbers truly go up. Plus, who would even want to participate in a system that is so corrupt, right down to the bone... It is a sickening world, and the coward Luciferians are in control of every aspect of our lives right now.

Have fun, always have options, then if you persist there's a chance you'll look unattractive. Unfortunately I still don't give up. And am too forgiving. Society looks at me with pity but I refuse to change for this world. I'm happy this way, and playing games like that has never been me. I know I'll be good enough for somebody someday. That's a wonderful sentimental line yes so trued indeed. However, MANY people through out the world have horrific lives where they've had to suffer with hurt and pain mentally and physically most of their lives which this line and thought could never be applied to. I myself have many SAD memories and when I think of most of my past I always cry. I have regrets and always wonder that if I had made a different choice and maybe better choices would I be where I'm at today? So I'm sorry but this line/thought is wonderful for people who have lived wonderful positive lives and doesn't apply to the many thousands who have gone through hell and back or lived very sad lives without a choice in the matter. Still ... these people are an inspiration to all and my hat goes off to them. It's all in the kind of lives we are blessed with and how we lived it but most of all the GENES.

I am on my way to 29. I am finally starting to learn that I am capable of doing the things I always thought were out of reach. It is not too late for me. It is definitely not to late for you. Good luck, and do not let fear stop you. Failure is much better than putting off your dreams for a decade. (Note: i haven't seen vid yet, so I can be sounding like a fool in this message... oh well!)

@@erichoselton5340 With 36 now I find one of the hardest things is to keep your dreams alive, to even remember what your dreams are that you're fighting for. In the pursuit of your dreams you can so easily get lost and head unknowingly in the wrong direction... It's a maze without a map. Sometimes you get lost and need to step back to the last crossroad, try another way.

@Hmm Ok. I'll just say that you have a lot of time on you hand don't sit around watching Netflix and shit. If you plan on doing something put you 100% into it and never blame others for the mistakes you make. Try different things don't follow the heard. Remember if you don't succeed you always gain experience there is no failure in life is what I believe.

Murtaza Hussain ...another thing they seem to have in common is money. And having money buys health care. You aren’t likely to find 100 plus year old homeless / poor people on here. Stress and worry can make it difficult to keep a positive point of view. A person would have to have quite extraordinary mental and emotional powers to do so. Perhaps these people do have such powers. Well, good for them. I can imagine that mere mortals with human frailties might come away from this video feeling worse wondering why they haven’t been able to transcend the pain and loss and disappointments that have battered them.

I shed a few tears when Emelia talked about her children. I can't imagine outliving my daughter, it was bad enough saying goodbye to my Mum. Bless her, I hope she continues to live happily for a while longer. Sorry to hear the other two have since passed away 😢😭
