I've only ever seen this happen once before, I was at an NA meeting, while I was talking, I noticed the man holding the meeting kept doing this, I was really really annoyed but didn't say anything, it bothered me that much at the next meeting I had to say about it, the man said he didn't know he was doing it, it's like some kinda ...... I don't know lol, like a hBbit or something. Kinda wonder what this young lad feels about daily life, I don't wear a watch, what's your thoughts? Life ruled by time. I should wear a watch, I'm late for everything, I've said to people only time il be on time for is my last breath lol.

I am 59 and my Dad is 85 and tomorrow August 19 we are going on vacation for the first time since 1986 and I am so excited. My Dad and I became closer since my Mom passed away in 2021. Since 1989 thru 2019 my Mom and I traveled everywhere together even Europe. Our minds are weird I often wonder how our minds now and then can forget something as significant as a mother's passing. The other day I picked up the phone to call my Mom had something cool to tell her and as soon as I went to dial her number then I remembered she was gone. My Dad is a 2X cancer survivor and last October he had covid very bad and he is my Energizer Bunny and bounced back. He has covid fatigue but he gets everything done that he needs to everyday. He still mows his lawn and he walks and he bikes. He use to run marathons even after 6 weeks of chemo when he was in his 40s. This is a great Dare. This was a blessing for both Son and Dad. Life is short. Blessings, Rebekah

I almost fifty, father of four, i know for sure that my kids love me, but it always ALWAYS hit me hard when they say it without any reason. Always get emotional and start to understand why my father always smile when I say it and it wasn't easy to say it cause we r from different era that u have to control and keep what u feel to urself, even love. Yet that didn't stop me saying that word to him every time I saw the big guy. I was lucky to be his son, lucky to break what was strange to break and lucky to know him for 40 years of my life. His death was unexpected but the fact the nurse called me so I can talk with him until after he passed will forever be a gift I can never repay. I wake up all the time and want to call him to just say hi, tell him anout life or talk about his grandbabies with him. I'll tell you...any time your kid calls YOU....that makes your day. And when they say I love you like he did? Wow.

I haven’t seen my dad in almost 20 years, and yesterday I spoke to him for the first time in 8 years. Told him I miss him which felt so strange to me, considering we have absolutely no relationship. He responded “I miss you too son”. No regrets.

I just found out yesterday that my mom's lung cancer has spread. I'm going to fly out to see her over christmas. Please go see your dad before it's too late.
