father figures are so important, and to think modern women don't believe men are important enough is crazy
@XclawX213
@XclawX213 Жыл бұрын
@@no_name_unfortunately I mean Modern women tend to go after boys who are raised only by a single parent, mostly a mother. So the men that most likely have never had a father figure, to begin with, and worse, they are never around men who will act like it to them so the cycle continues. My father is the kindest man I know, taught me how to shoot, how to have patience, and to be a kind human being. My mom tried to teach me to be a victim, to hurt those who hurt me, and to never fully trust a person even a friend (When they both separated). I don't hate my mother, but I noticed my sister was the same with her kids, my cousin was the same with her child and it's just something I noticed. We need both parents to make a decent human being, single parents make a monster 80% of the time. That or never have a country parent marry a city parent XD

I raised three girls. I gave them permission to defend themselves, we talked about the facts of life early and often. My girls could come to me for anything, even if they thought it would be embarrassing. I taught them to respect their sense of self-worth and to never give any part of themselves away to anyone who didn't deserve it. I have three well balanced and independent daughters who make me proud every day.

As the daughter of a military vet and now cop father if ever you have a bad day at work and your in a bad mood, Take a long drive and difuse before coming home. @@tylernielsen3319 can vouch for this 🥲 my parents were super non-accepting of my current boyfriend and we've been through soooooo much shit, i can't even begin to explain; just because they believe they are right and.. ?? I honestly don't know what goes through a person's mind when they think its okay or justified to threaten someone that their child has chosen to love. And yeah, it's completely ruined our relationship. I can't talk to them the same way anymore, can't fully respect any of their opinions (Im still super respectful to them, just don't have any faith in any of their beliefs/opinions anymore), and my mental health (while already pretty shitty) took a DIIIIIIIVE 😂💀📉 Love your children, parents. In an unconditional, unselfish way that allows you to see them as individuals in their own right, with their own (STRONG) thoughts and emotions. Empathize with them in every way you can, because all of what you do as a parent has a major impact on an individual coming into the world.

Yes but he got one thing wrong, partly. You show your daughters you love them because if you just say it then when someone else says it they will believe it, too. If you SHOW them and say it then when the person only says it and doesn't show it, they will discern the truth and not waste their time on lip service. Too many parents get this wrong and then wonder why their kids end up with classical and covert narcissists and other BS, user types. The answer is they fell for it because it was familiar, their childhood idea of love that their parent.or parents portrayed.. Prioritize your kids and they will not waste time on people who cannot and will not reciprocate! Don't spoil them with praise once in a while and ignore them the majority or they will seek that in a spouse without even knowing and those types will find them so quick and get their hooks in easy. Also, It is CRUCIAL to Treat your spouse the way you want your Kid's spouses to treat them! Role model it with actions and not just words or if you can't then get out of the way for someone who can if you want your kids to have their best chance in life.

I told my husband he'd damn well better start paying attention to our daughter because if HE didn't, she'd find another man who WOULD, and we might not approve of that man! She was a wonderful, smart kid, and you'd best believe that was one of the only times he listened to me. I suggested a few outings he could take her on, and it wasn't long before they were hiking the backwoods, camping in the wilderness and it was only two weeks out of the year, but I think it worked!

You summed it up nicely! I taught mine martial arts and told them I would risk going to jail to protect them. No one was going to manhandle or abuse them. I have 4 married daughters with great husbands. It’s good to be former military. It makes the guys think twice. My wife and I set the bar pretty high. They know they are loved and respected and it is reciprocated. Nothing is more powerful than that of a great example. We are truly blessed and so are you Nick! My dad used to take me with him to kmart when he needed to go run and get something. We would take the motorcycle and get icecream after. Just by showing me the right kind of attention, it helped me spot guys with alterior motives and avoid them. My mom also told me one time, that if anything ever happened to me. The guy would be dead and my dad would be in jail. That really stuck with me too. Told me I'm valuable and loved. Real men are so needed. I wish every girl could have a man in her life to show her what real love is. I got the extra message that I had one willing to lay down his life for me because sometimes we don't see the day to day sacrifices that are made for us, but a message like that, I remembered.

I got chills at the “tell your daughter you love them, because if you don’t, someone else who doesn’t will and she’ll believe them”. If more fathers heard those words there’d be way less women who live for the validation from men that they never got from their fathers because their fathers didn’t know how to be emotionally available towards their daughters since their fathers probably weren’t that way with them.

I know a lot of girls who's father's were the exact opposite and one of the most important stories I could tell is this one friend I had in middle school. We were around the same age(probably 15) and had similar interests so I went over to her house for the first time and the conversation led to talking about our families, she started crying after I told her that she deserves better and I asked if she wanted a hug, she proceeded to cling to me the whole time until I had to leave. She was so amazed that I actually listened to her and didn't get annoyed at her for being emotional and I'm 100% sure she would have done anything I asked her to if I had ulterior motives. So many girls don't know how to react when a guy is actually interested in their personal life or touches them in a non sexual manner (like a genuine hug) because they've never experienced it before and it makes them vulnerable to getting hurt or manipulated.

I sincerely appreciate the kind words too. I know my relationship with my parents will likely not improve due to certain circumstances, but I hope all of you are able to improve your relationships with your parent(s), and if not then I hope you can find a father/mother figure to be there for you and show you what love from that certain missing person feels like. Thankfully I have a father figure in my life, he and his wife have taken me under their wings and treat me like blood, allowing me to stay over sometimes, work for them, babysit their biological daughters, have dinners with them, etc. I am extremely lucky to have found someone like that, and I hope all of you do as well. Her father, my brother, committed suicide when she was an infant. She was adopted by a woman who was single so no father figure her whole life except my parents who could visit her a number of times over the years. My wife and I finally saw her this year twice. I was very happy to see her and I'm pretty sure she was happy to see me. I suspect and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe she very much wants to know me and is happy when I'm around because I'm the closest thing she has to her father. My wife told me she told her I'm more normal than my parents so I guess that's good lol

@@madphatdopeyo742 i know for me it’s always nice having a male role model in my life and does make me happy because it makes me feel like for even a moment that I do have a dad. Whenever I see anything about a dad being happy with his kids it’s like a stab in the heart cause I know I never or will ever have that. So I’m sure when she sees you especially being the uncle it’s kinda like she is drawn more to you because you’re the closest thing she’ll ever have to a dad. If I could give you advice just please try to always be in her life as much as you possibly can. With everything I went through with my own father both before and after he left made me suffer really really bad depression even a few years later. My dad is a dad of two girls, me and my little sister. He has told me countless times that he doesn’t think he could ever be a boy dad. He means the world to me and he always tells me that I mean more to him than life itself… He means the same to me and always will… I am his girl and NO ONE AND NOTHING will ever change that!❤❤ (He’s in Colorado right now for work and seeing this reminds me of how much I love him!) Edit: All of us girls need to ALWAYS remind our dads that we will always be their little girls! Thank you to every girl dad for being awesome!

As a girl who has a dad like you, know this: 1) We're more thankful than all the "thank you's" we give💕 2) You will ALWAYS have a home with us, and we will give you dessert first when you're old- because the rule is "just don't tell Mom".🤷🏾‍♀️ 3) It doesn't matter who we said our best friend is- you're the best friend. 👨‍👧

HAHAHA I'm sorry! I'm sorry! But as an erotica writer, a daughter having the rule "Just don't tell mom" with her father has an ENTIRELY different meaning when I read it lmao I'm still laughing! Very sweet though, very sweet, when I become a father I'll do my best to be one that is truthful, honest, and supportive.

I understand the point you’re trying to make, you’d think that if you grow up in a dangerous situation, you would know what to avoid. But considering that children tend to consider their parents a rolemodel, don’t you think that what this guy is saying is a more realistic situation? Realistically, the first few years of your childs life they will be mostly with you and your family, so before they even get a chance or the capability to compare their situation to someone else’s, the way you treat them is what they know. And if it’s bad bad, it might be what they look for later on in friends or a partner because in their mind, that’s what makes them feel loved.
