Catalysts are the most versatile weapon to use in different playstyles, sicne the characters don't use it as a weapon like spears or swords. You could literally have anything for catalyst users. A gambit-like guy whom attacks with cards? Catalyst user, his BiS being a Deck. A Journalist whom attacks with photo clicks of her kamera? That's Charlotte. A Puppeteer girl, totally not Alice Margatroid from Touhou, using little dolls armed with tiny lances and claymores to attack? Catalyst User. Sandrone Puppeteering Ruin Guards in her burst, and her skill being literally Furina's E but with Khaenri'ah's bots and her being Geo just to match the color scheme of Khaenriah and her element not being very useful because Khaenri'ah's bots don't have a a prticular element? Catalyst. Iansan using Jajanken and literally exploding people with her Pyro fists? Catalyst.

I think there is 2 ways they could make Navia interesting. One option is to do what Zajef said and make her focus on constructs where she either gigabuffs constructs or transforms how they work. The other option i thought of which is the one i want is to have her transform how Crystalize works in a similar way to how Nilou Transforms how bloom works. I think it would be cool if she sucked in Crystalize Shards and caused them to explode doing damage based on the elemental type of the Crystalize shard. I think this second option would be interesting because it would remove her from the standard mono geo line up and actually make you want to create crystalize reactions, it would also make the archaic petra set actually interesting.

I think Navia would be a combination of both themes of geo. I imagine she will be like a geo Neuvillette, where she consumes elemental shards instead of droplets, and extend the blast duration per shard instead of fast-charging the blast. She would be able to play off-field with the laser being fired by a geo construct, which also inhabits properties based on elements of the shards collected. If the geo construct were to break, it deals AoE geo damage BUT it also produces a hologram of itself called a mirror construct, which does half the damage and half the properties of the geo construct. Navia may also drain HP of the active character based off her EM, and will heal at the duration's end based off of HP lost. So Navia technically scales off of EM as well.

@@FreneticPotato what about geo traveler? The thing is that is very dependent on kit though, because some want their constructs destroyed, others don't. Geo Traveler's does a large geo aoe. Ningguang's gets refreshed if destroyed. Ushi gives 1 superlative superstack when it leaves by duration or when he gets destroyed. Well, I hope Navia could solve that problem. My idea is that Navia creates a mirror construct when the geo construct is destroyed. The mirror construct inherits half of the geo construct's dmg and abilities.

Genshin should really have more Skill-tied pyro dps, and I mean off-field dps. What could be done for those that still have standard ICD to compete with XIangling's nonexistent ICD is something that already shows itself in game via burning boxes near electrocharged water, and that is spontaneous combustion. It would honestly be really cool to have some consecutive explosions of pyro, like with each explosion in its own ICD group so you just have chain-linked overloads, melts, or vaporizes.

Also could be the time to add QoL changes for geo constructs e.g. toggle auto climb on constructs in settings. It would actually be hilarious if they change the Geo Resonance again hahaha.

Well, all Geo Constructs should resonate at a base line. Not just Zhongli enabling it. Make Constructs buildable on Oceanid floor. Make Solar Isotoma have no collision and therefore cannot be destroyed and instead of an elevator, make it a jump platform. It would actually work more similarly to the air vents in the chasm, it bounces you up only if you jump while on it. If you stand on it for an extended period, it then raises up, with no jump power applied. Gorou's entire field is now a Geo construct, canonically he raises the terrain a bit to give his troops advantage anyway. I think this is good ignoring my general ideas for a Geo Rework that I am not including here.

I'd rework Dehya. It's not just her numbers. She can have bigger numbers and her teams would still be the same. Her E needs to be more frequent, this just helps in general and allows her to burgeon as a bonus. She should take the damage she's absorbed and turn it in to elemental burst damage at a conversion rate that's not busted. Her NA string should not fucking knock enemies away on the 3rd hit (Her NA string COULD use the damage buff though too). Frankly, just this and she's a good character. Yeah, I didn't actually fix every problem of her kit (like being unable to catch her own particles which Zajeff has complained about, he's capping she only needs numbers buffs. He forgets his own complaints) and I'm fine with that. Any more and I may as well go all the way and it'd be a fucking essay. I'm trying to be reasonable.

Frankly, the burst NA string knocking enemies away is somewhat compatible with overload since she already launches herself against enemies she is locked onto as they are overloaded. I can pretty much stunlock Liam or Escanor Avildson with combination of Dehya and overloaded. But yeah, her E being more frequent would already solve very many problems since it also means more frequent particle regen, more compatibility for burgeon, and increasing her damage hits.

Both create an area of such by the afflicting element. Geo+Dendro Cores create thorn patches like what Samachurls make. Geo+Dendo on enemy ensnares them and deals Dendro damage over time, weaker than burning and only reapplies Dendro once. Very large enemies ignore. The characters who created the thorn fields can walk through unimpeded. Geo+Cryo creates Crystallize reaction; Adds health to Geo Constructs and protects players with a shield that applies thorns damage on receiving hits. Crystallize also fortifies shields. Geo+Cryo on enemies frostbites them, taking 2%max health and 2%current health along with base superconduct damage. Geo+Electro; Geo becomes a strong amplifying reaction vs Electro. Electro damage is reduced by 75% if the enemy has a Geo aura. Geo+Anemo=Sandstorms, works the same as anything else swirled and works with VV and characters who absorb elements. Beaches and Sumeru desert, possibly Mondstadt trails as well are now Geo for environmental reactions. Maybe rock walls too depending on their coding if it's not too much work. Viridescent Venerer: Applies effect off-field. Now works with Geo. Archaic Petra: 4pc-The damage of Geo-Related reactions, effect durations, and resonance effects are increased by 50%. i gotta stop watching shit with zyox in it, this mf loud=funny turbo also neuvi is a very obvious prospective archon investment character, basically begging to be run with Furina summons, the way his kit flows is sick, but all of his passives, marechaussee etc all require the HP fluctuation + reaction proc timing to get up to max stacks, so on initial CA you are doing the least dmg and ramp into most dmg. by having constant off field hydro application you are gonna constantly have his draconic stacks up so the initial dip in dmg especially if you are running lower CR due to bad artifact rng (like 25 -35%) so C1 feels almost mandatory to include hydro resonance and drop Zhongli in favor of either 1 dendro 1 electro or 1 electro 1 anemo otherwise you have like quickswap into weave a NA or an E early to apply hydro and usually you are wanting to full setup E CA Q CA CA E CA or E Q 3x CA E CA depends on summon uptime I think gun electro chick from Fontaine teaser will have similar playstyle to fischl (off field support) but with fontaine HP mechanic (maybe like a scattershot type skill with marking enemies with electro) but maybe thats a tiny bit cope to make furina seem better
