This is fantastic Johnny. Amazing way to provide information on all the grinds, including the new low bounce W! Never hurts to have the legend Dot R Dot helping you out either haha! Thanks so much for coming by with the @golfwrx crew!

Callaway Golf is there anyway to get the 54 in the Low Bounce W? I’ve put myself into a weird spot, I’ve gapped my wedges in a way that my 54 is going to be my SW and my soft conditions wedge. My 50 is really narrow with a small bounce and my 58 is a 8c. I didn’t realize that the 54 couldn’t be ordered standard with a Low bounce W grind

VERY useful video. I like Roger's commentary with the actual bounce specs (vs what is stamped on the club)

I had a custom wedge fitting with Roger and I hate to say it, but it was just OK. We had about 5-6 people in a wedge clinic and we were supposed to be custom fit for our wedges by Roger, but most of us received very little input from Roger. The Callaway rep who was there w roger was actually pretty knowledgeable and made some recommendations to me and some of the others, but it was one of those “let me see you hit a few shots” fittings, and the rep then just recommended the C grind. A number of us walked away from the session disappointed and it was anything but cheap.

I am confused @ 3:44 he claims the C and S grinds have 13deg bounce..? Spec sheet says C = 8, S = 10. Also confused when he said @7:58 that X grind has 19/20º deg of bounce... spec sheet says 12º? @ 10:36 he mentions the 8/10/12 is a "fitting system" which to me implies they aren't the actual bounces..? Am I correct on this?

I am also confused. An awesome variety of wedges that I am left with more questions than answers. I want to pull the trigger and purchase but not going to anymore

Depends where ur playing ur shots from. C grind from firmer grass and C grind if your swing is less steep. C grind = 8degrees. 10 degrees and up for more rough shot and sand, and/or if you have a steeper swing

Thanks for sharing the vid Johnny, that must have been an amazing experience. If you ever get a chance to do an interview with him, that would be pretty special!

The one thing I notice between Callaways and Vokeys wedges is that Vokeys grinds seem more aggressive than Callaways. A Callaway C grind is similier to a Vokey M grind but if you compared the two you would see what I mean. I normally use Vokeys but I'm intrigued with the Callaways.

I got fitted for MD5 Jaws 52/S10, 56/8C and 60/X12 with 2 deg flat lie. The 52, 56 is 1 deg strong lofted.

I would have liked to have seen some wedge shots out of heavy rough, which bounce and grind recommended, since this is where amateurs usually end up playing from.

Which wedge was that out of the bunker? Low bounce 8 I thought I heard Roger say?
